The beat selection is really solid, it's the first thing that stood out to me. Kodak knows how to use his voice and the lyrics aren't bad. I feel like there isn't much variation in his voice from track to track which makes the album a bit monotonous. He really benefits from having a solid hook or having someone else on the track with him.

I can run Project Baby 2 and Painting Pictures front to back and not skip a track, this project I felt like skipping a few tracks. I just feel like Kodak lost the great melodies and flows he had on previous projects, and lost some of his charisma on the track too.

I feel like what he lost in melody and flow, which I don't necessarily disagree with he definitely was not focused on that as much this album, he makes up by having some of the most outstanding verses of his career on this project in my opinion. My favorite tracks are the opening track, transgressions and identity theft. For some reason he reminds me of Juvenile on some of the songs.

Kodak is a dude I've never been able to get into. I had given a couple of projects a listen but just didn't get it.

I don't know what's different, but this album is awesome. Might end up on my top 10 list. I'm really surprised at how much I like this. Gonna have to go back and relisten to his older stuff. For sure his best album, gnarly is such a fuckin good song.

Kodak Black's "Dying To Live" May Be His First-Ever No. 1 Album: First-Week Projections

Honestly, ZEZE is probably my least favorite. I'm a sucka for a popy hit like gnarly, that shit is catchy. That aside really love the project, particularly in the flesh, that song is great. Really good project i thought kodak wouldnt be able to pull off another great project but he did. I like 13 out of the 16 songs im glad he didnt load the project with features like most rappers in One thing i didnt like was that he released so much of the album i would have liked if he released it like pb2 with no lead singles.

Heart of Projects 8. Not really feeling it tbh. I love ZEZE but a lot of these tracks kinda just mesh together to me.
