They just made a movie of this classic by B. It arrived it perfect condition. I have not had time to read it yet but a colleague of mine told me that the book is better than the movie as is the case most of the time.

Le Bonheur dans le mariage by Madeleine Chapsal

Apparently it is a book much appreciated by adolescents. Since I am a French teacher, I wanted to read it before assigning it to students. This is a great story written long ago,and now a movie has been made for it.

I ordered the lovely new, film tie-in edition of this novel as gift, however Amazon sent me an old edition that featured ugly bobble-head dolls on the cover. Sadly if I returned it and reordered the new edition, it would not have arrived in time for my husband's birthday and Amazon would have charged me for their mistake.

Really disappointed Amazon, not good enough Not to mention it's adorable! On every page there are the two little guys in the bottom right hand corner, so when you flip through it really fast it's a little flip book. Love that extra little detail. And thanks for helping me save money!
