This is an excellent episode and filled with lots of good Old West action and characters.
John Slocum wanders the West, and adventure, and the need for justice always seems to be waiting for him wherever he roams. He is not a Lawman per say;but is well able to challenge any situation and ensure justice is carried outone way or another.
In this saga ,we find Slocum,down to his last dollar and agreeing to help 4 ladies,who have tired of their multiple Mormon marriages,and offer themsselves as "Mail-Order Brides". Slocum contracts to assist them in getting away and meeting up with their future husbands. The story is very engrossing,filled with lots of action,shootouts,adventure and well developed ,interesting characters ;who lay one road block after another in front of him,in efforts to prevent Slocum from completing his mission.
A great read, that you'll find hard to put down,once you get started.

Please try again later. A real action packed episode. Slocum wards off degenerates everywhere he goes. It seems nobody is safe in the wilds of Wyoming and Montana. Be they Indian maids,wives of white settlers,Morman wives who have been sent to man small ranches while their husbands take up with younger wives,a pair of ranchers travelling home carrying a small fortune in gold as a result of selling their big horn herd;and even Slocum himself is not immune from some of the most vicious attackers imaginable. This includes a small party of 3 Indian youths who are really more inexperienced than dangerous,but still capable of murder.
Then there are the three worst characters you can find travelling together with nobody safe in their path. The two ranchers are murdered by the trio of Red Dog,Snake and Tar Boy;who have ambushed them and now have their money are willing to kill everyone in their path as they hightail it to warmer climates to enjoy their plunder.
One of the rancher's wives,the beautiful Lilly,has hired Slocum to find her husband,and actually convinces him to take her along as he hunts down the killers. The whole stoty is filled with interesting characters and situations that'll keep the reader wanting to find out where,and how this is all gonna end.
