Does anyone genuinely appreciate their presence in the artwork? I would seriously like to know the reason why they should be here.
What do they add? They don't look good bc anything interesting and unique about the original is now shoved into the back to accommodate some random simple child. Here is an idea, make Ana and Ace not cartoonishly childish! Ney is an excellent example of this. She isn't annoying bc she is visually elegant and graceful. The concept is nice. Recontextualizing the original themes and artwork for an evo unit like Ney is cool. But the reason Ney works while Ana and Ace are annoying is bc Ney actually had artwork of her own.

Ney's original form has dragon wings and an elegant dress. Mashing her together with Lynthia and Z8 makes for something interesting bc she has substance and brings more to the table than just her face! Ace and Ana's original forms are students! Their simplicity lacks cohesion with the epic units they mesh with resulting in art that is reductive.
They are bland, boring and therefore come off as cheap which is annoying. Let's shove in this random middle schooler to take center stage over units that are actually cool like Zeus and Horus.
