In high schools, though, the schools often buy the books for the students, but they expect a given textbook to last seven years or more. This one is tricky, because you may be a few years in before it arises as an issue.

One way they compete is by waiving placement tests as prerequisites for certain courses. That makes it more difficult for us to hold the line, academically. You might be surprised at how well most of the students do, especially once they arrive at the college campus. Sometimes the change of scene does a world of good.

Performed on a piano with a drum machine backing, the song had most of the final lyrics of Nobody Told Me, and the chords were in place, although some fine-tuning was needed before it was complete. Lennon later added more vocals and an acoustic guitar track onto the demo prior to recording Double Fantasy. He then taped a new version of the song, which was intended for Starr.

It was recorded on acoustic guitar with a drum machine backing, and Lennon overdubbed a lead vocal part. Starr considered the song for his album Stop And Smell The Roses, but following Lennon's death he decided he was unable to record any of his songs.

"Nobody Told Me" is a song by John Lennon. The B-side features Yoko Ono's "O' Sanity"; both are on the Milk and Honey album. The promo video for the single. Nobody Told Me Lyrics: Three four! / Everybody's talking / And no-one says a word / Everybody's making love / And no-one really cares.
