Lots of action, sass and camaraderie. A warning this author is not afraid to kill off characters. But they are very entertaining stories that move fast don't get overly complex and don't get into the angsty love-betrayal- triangles that make me want to stab myself in the eye.

Will I continue to read future books in the series? Of course I will. There is a lot of graphic violence and gore so don't read if you are sensitive to that. The book blurb adequately describes the storyline so I'm not going to repeat that all of that info here. This story involves necromancers, vampires, Fae, demons, and other supernatural creatures.
Damian Vesick and his mentor Zola have their hands full while they try to stop a demon determined to wreck havoc on Earth. Will they succeed or will the demon destroy them and those they care about? I also have the Audible version of Days Gone Bad. William Dufris was the narrator for the audio version. He did a good job in narrating the book. One person found this helpful. Pretty good stuff, but the other reviews are right when they say it is missing some back story. Two or three chapters at the beginning are needed to both add more explanation and support a lot of the explanations given throughout the story.
I was also a little bothered by the awkward little additions to make characters quirky. My eyes were rolling while I wrote that since you couldn't see me. Otherwise, I like the whole necromancer thing and will probably pick up any other books in the series. See all reviews.
