    When both of them found out they were in love with Molly, they had a choice: They chose the pact. Two years later, in college, Samuel met Sandra.

    He takes a sip of beer and waits for Dave to break the silence with one of his silly stories, like he always does. The pact… Is it still on? A pact is forever, no?

    Now Dave is the one staring in silence at his bottle, absorbed in his thoughts. After a moment of hesitation, he downs his beer in one gulp and mumbles:.
