Just moved right next door to this place ' and have to say really good place for a drink and music. A real old school pub. Having spent the day in Norwich we decided to look for a place to eat.

Fortunately for us we came upon Walnut Tree Shades, a very friendly pub which has a style of its own. The guy at the bar was very friendly and helpful I took my 6 year old daughter in after the Norwich game. On reflection it's not really a place to take kids but we had a perfectly nice time. The pub was busy and a red haired bar lady was doing an amazing job at I have visited when they have live bands on and its a great atmosphere and a lively little venue.

Unfortunately during the day time it seems to attract undesirables at the bar, I admire the bar staff for putting up with vulgarities. Fantastic place to meet friends and have a drink or too. It is what it is, a great place.

So not to make a comment without trying the evidence I ordered a Walnut Burger. When it arrived it was what I thought it would be. Two terribly cooked carpet burgers with loads of chips Too much does not mean good!!! As for the bun, dry and stale.
