The Tender Caress of Silver Tongues (Sci Fi Erotica)

The assistant by tiffany reisz is just yummalusciously delicious. I never thought a assistant would be so bold and brazen but also honorable. And the ending just wow. A new canvas by Tara betts is very sensual. I mean the way he using her as the Received in exchange for a honest review. I mean the way he using her as the canvas in such a delectable and erotic way. Date night was fascinating and intriguing. The altar of lamented toys was unique and alluring. Each story adds its own allure and intrigue. Each with a different way of reaching the sensual side of us all and allowing us to see the delicious freedom of erotic acts of desire.

Such an interesting and varied collection of erotic stories. First I've read that included transgender people in the lead roles, which was awesome. A few acts I hadn't even considered before and some I considered, and decided, Hell No! Jan 19, Sinclair rated it really liked it. Excellent, diverse read of stories. RKB delivers a fantastic selection as always. Feb 15, Corrine Silver rated it it was amazing. This is a great collection- very diverse which is fun. I really enjoyed it. I appreciate the editor's desire to include diversity. I'm a woman of color in my 30's, I don't want to read about young virginal blondes. This collection had white women, black women, a woman in Japan, a Latina pop star, a woman in a relationship with a trans man, a recently deaf woman, a woman with a mastectomy who is rediscovering her libido after beating cancer, young women, women in their 40's, 50's, even 60's. That I have mixed feelings about this book, I'd give it 3. I hate to say this, OMG A lot of the stories felt like affirmative action stories. Or more like token diversity stories, you know.

Like when white sitcoms or films have a token character who is not important to the plot. Some of these token protagonists did nothing to strengthen the collection. But maybe that's just me expecting too much. Because I crave these relatable characters so badly, maybe I expect more from them than I do the typical busty young white ladies. Maybe it's like when you get so excited about a film you're going to go see, because it's the kind you've always wanted to find and watch, that it can never live up to the hype you've created about it.

I also just think this particular editor has tastes very different from mine.

Because in the intro, she praises Amy Butcher's "Waiting to Pee" as "one of the most provocative stories I've ever published, one I plan to reread often. I felt nauseous reading it, in a way I haven't since I was a preteen and read one of Anne Rice's descriptions of swallowing blood that was a bit too vividly detailed for me. The story features an outdoor park bathroom the kind I avoid like the plague, you know they always stink and are full of flies , yellow piss, a dirty trucker, and vomiting.

If that's your thing, you'll love it. The rest of the stories I disliked were just basic and boring, so I didn't hate them. I was glad to have found them.

Love In An Elevator

Tara Betts "A New Canvas" - beautifully written story, black characters with an established connection friends with sexual tension acting on it for the first time, hot! I loved everything about it, every sentence. It got me hot, and it made me cry. I went through a full range of emotions within a few words that a lot of novels don't even make me feel. Lethe's "Out of the Ordinary" which features a blue-green silicone tentacle dildo. This one surprised me. I'm actually terrified of animals with tentacles, and disgusted by them, so I initially skipped over this one when I saw that pop up.

But I'm glad I gave it a chance. You really get a sense of their relationship, it's so well-crafted in how you learn things slowly from bits of conversation. I felt the love between the couple, a woman and her boyfriend who is trans, and you know this without the author telling you "he was trans. A story of letting go, told in a unique setting - a popular sex dungeon.

She is one of my favorite erotica writers, and I was not disappointed. Not your typical office romance! How can you not love it? It had some light kink, a sex party in a mansion, and a lot of intensity, that passion of finally getting to sleep with someone you've had a crush on forever. This made me want to check out the author's books, and I definitely will. Feb 01, Romancing the Book rated it really liked it Shelves: There is a little bit of everything for almost everyone. Warning the sexual content runs from mild to explicit.

This was a story that could have been stretched. I found this to be very erotic and sensual. Troy and Angela are attracted to each other but are with other people so they stay at just being friends. Until they end up at her apartment and discuss his new art technique and ideas he is working on. I remember how fun they were. She is widowed and is just along as chaperone for her cousin Ora. Elizabeth is in for a very sensuous night.

Six years is a long time to go without the touch of a man. And there is more to come. Ophelia the Second by Jade A. She has a big crush on Philip as not only Philip but Hamlet but finds him to be unattainable. They are friends ending up at Philips to go over lines. She knows hers and his backwards and forwards. A slight brush of the hand here, a caress there and suddenly Nat finds that she has a chance with Philip.

This is a sensual story with fun characters and oh how running lines sounds heavenly. Revisiting Youth by J. For Aya she knew she needed to do something. I take it this happens close to a college as she leaves the comfort of restaurant and bars with people more her age she ends up down the street in a place with a much younger crowd.

As she watches this one table she envies the young girl who is crowded by a table of guys. She makes a comment a couple of the guys end up coming and sharing her table. A night of sex for the three of them that leaves all satisfied. Be careful what you wish for. Date Night by D. Slaten-I always enjoy stories of couples enjoying a good date.

What a way to keep things from going stale in your marriage. Getting to have your fantasies fulfilled while enjoying hot steamy sex with the one person you love. I will have to change that on the next date. Jan 18, Cheryl rated it really liked it Shelves: I was given a copy of this book in exchange for a fair review. I'm new to this editors work and new to most of the authors in the collection.

This is not a bad thing. Other people may recognise more of the authors than I did, but it was good to expand my horizons by reading this book. But this really does come close. I adored I was given a copy of this book in exchange for a fair review. I adored the diversity I saw in the book and many of the stories were not like anything I've read in this genre before - again not a bad thing. I thought that the tamer stuff seemed to be near the front and the more BDSM stuff at the back which is nice.

I do like a bit of both and this seemed like a gentle slope from gentle to more hardcore. A gentle escalation if you like. There were a couple of stories either end that weren't my thing but were still good. I can see others enjoying those stories more than me - it's just a preference thing. Nothing wrong with the stories or the writing just not for me.

I adore Tabitha Rayne's writing and her story in this book didn't fail me. It did leave me thinking and considering. Attempting to put myself in the place of the main character. Enter Me is just wonderful. I've not read anything else they have done before and this story I found fantastic. There are so many good stories and good ideas in the book that if you can't find at least one to your liking then perhaps this kind of genre isn't really for you. The book uses American spellings so if you are staunchly against that then again think about whether this is the book for you or not.

Personally it doesn't bother me all that much but I do know some that won't read books if they have American spellings in. Personally I think a book should stand on it's entire contents and not just which spellings it uses.

When I was first asked to review this book, I was super excited because it features one of my favorite erotica writers, Tiffany Reisz. So many people associate erotica with oversexualized kinky Posted originally on my blog: I think Rachel did a phenomenal job compiling together all of these stories.

Each one is great as a stand alone and yet, all of them work well in this book. The other great thing with a book like this is that you can find a little of everything for everyone. I would definitely recommend this book as a must read and I look forward to seeing how many of you enjoyed it as much as I did.

My enthusiasm, however, is entirely my own. Tabitha Rayne's "Enter Me", which deals directly with the complications of trying to find space for one's sexuality while struggling with PTSD, was the most delightful surprise of the book and especially wonderful for me on a personal level. And maybe I was reading too quickly in my excitement and missed a part where the protagonist of Theda Hudson's "Lighting The Pyre" adjusts her strap-on, but I ask the question only because a trans woman in a feminist erotica anthology is as rare and delightful as a four-leaf clover.

And if she is, it's all the more delightful for being a story in which her transness isn't the point of her character or her story. Basically, if I'm wrong I'm happy being wrong is what I'm saying. Not every story is perfect, of course, but an anthology has to be reviewed as the average of its collected stories, and this anthology sets that bar fantastically high.

This right here is what I want from an erotica anthology.

There were many stories like that. I think those were my favorite. There was pretty much something for everybody. There were lots of diverse stories too. I could go on and on and on because there were so many good stories.

Best Women's Erotica of the Year, Volume 1 is wonderful collection of erotic short stories. This book truly has something for everyone. My personal favorite was The Assistant by Tiffany Reisz. In his haste, although Xavier closed the outer door, he failed to additionally lock it.

Theophilus became aware of being touched by hands he knew were those of strangers. With a rapid movement, he scuttled to sit clutching a sheet to his nude form. Leering at him were two men who were denizens of this world. The lascivious gazes had the blond fearing for his safety. He was unaware that in the comparative darkness neither the colour of his eyes, his slanting brows nor his small antenna were visible.

Theophilus would have found him unattractive even if his eyes and face hadn't been filled with a mix of hate and lust. Theophilus spared a glance at his companion. He was similarly swarthy, but with red hair. Although he was less physically repugnant, Theophilus still feared the lust in the hazel eyes.

Before he could try and explain further, a strong hand latched around his ankle to pull him closer to the two men. I want what you gave the lizard. As the men leaned eagerly forward, Theophilus lashed out with two balled fists to send both men tumbling backwards. He surged to his feet preferring not to fight naked, unarmed and outnumbered. Clutching desperately to the sheet, he flew to the outer door. He reached for the handle as a bolt of pain, that began in his spine and radiated outwards to envelop his entire body, struck him soundlessly.

His body dropped instantly, twitching spasmodically. With mounting fear, the blond realised that, whilst his mind was still clear, his body was unable to respond to his frantic commands to run or fight. A terrified whimper escaped from frozen lips as booted feet came into his line of vision.

Now let's see what we're getting. Byran caught the dark man's hand as he reached for a pale thigh. He looked with concern at the tears that leaked from golden eyes radiating fear. Wait, Silaff," he advised. He's an off-worlder, too. He may not be a prostitute.

Who knows the minds or customs of off-worlders? I have no desire to touch him. I thought we were to find one of our kind here. I don't care what he is. If he belongs to the lizard, so much the better. We don't need his kind here. Before Silaff could react to the sound he was pinned to the floor. A large male straddled his body.

He had a mix of darker and lighter hair. Eyes that were like chips of ice bored into Silaff's. Retractable claws now dug into the fragile flesh of his throat. The male was large and powerful, strong and muscular and there was not an ounce of mercy Silaff could behold in the form. An acrid smell arose from his body as he lost bladder control and tiny whimpers of fear were all the sounds he could make as words as cold and deadly as the male that uttered them reached his ears.

His sensitive tongue flicked around the now shaking form as he scented the air. He could smell and taste his mate's fear, the remnants of his assailants' lust that had been superseded by their fear and the taste of their own earlier loving. He gazed at a form similar to the one pinning down Silaff. This male had sandy blond hair that reached to the shoulders and eyes that were the colour of a stormy ocean. The size and bulk of the males were almost identical. From the tilting of the blond head and the flare of the nostrils, Byran had the ridiculous notion the man was listening to his heartbeat as he was scenting him.

He wrapped his lab coat around Theophilus' shaking body. I want to make a formal complaint of my treatment as well as that of my bonded mate. I would like to make it in your presence so that it is recorded into Federation annuls to be officially dealt with. Not just handled by some local officiate who will hide it or ignore it. I would be grateful if Uist could protect my mate in our absence.

If you attempt to play down in any way your vile assault I will seek retribution personally.

He made the instant decision that prison on his homeworld was the best and the safest place to be. Xavier quickly glanced at the other two members of his 'family'. Sholto had one arm protectively around Theophilus' shoulder, as did Rayner, helping the blond to be able to sit upright. Sholto's auburn curls were caught by the lights in the lab giving the impression of burnished metal.

His ocean blue eyes were filled with concern and despite being the smallest of the group, his solid frame offered strength to the slender form he cradled. Rayner's curls were darker and his body slimmer, but the worry in his deep brown eyes matched that of Sholto's. Uist had come to stand protectively in front of the trio of younger men.

Xavier knew Theophilus was as loved and safe almost as if he were to remain. Provide feedback about this page. Unlimited One-Day Delivery and more. There's a problem loading this menu at the moment.
