I loved every single one and had a great time reading them. Each author did a great job with their characters. This book left me with a warm feeling inside.

This is a real nice and enjoyable collection of short novellas. Each one of them has a romantic Christmas theme to them. The Christmas Cabin by Emma Cane — Is a sweet and touching story about how a cowboy and a single mom with her son get trapped in a cabin over Christmas. This novella is a part of the Valentine Valley series. Not my favorite novella in this book, it is stil This is a real nice and enjoyable collection of short novellas. Not my favorite novella in this book, it is still a nice read. Luckily she is rescued by a man she thinks is his brother… I finished this entire book rather quickly.
Along with these stories you will also find the titles and a few excepts of the books these authors have written. This book was more like a sampler so you have a chance to try out these authors before buying all of their books. Over all I enjoyed it, it was a nice book to read in one afternoon. I liked the second story best.
It seemed a tad excessive for a non-freebie book. Dec 03, Ann Lorz rated it really liked it Shelves: This is the perfect holiday read. Two of the stories tell you about already married couples in their series. Which makes those stories even more heartwarming. A great way to sample these authors. Jan 15, Kristen Lewendon rated it really liked it. From sweet to silly to scorching hot, these little Christmas prequels cover a wide spectrum of styles and heat levels.
I loved that no matter what the situation, the magic of the season brought everyone together in time for love to find our couples for Christmas. Emma Cane, Jenifer Ryan and Katie Lane All three of these authors have written fun and sassy short stories of Christmas in snowy, mountain regions in the Christmas season. I got a kick out all three stories and how the women got their way with their men. Good reads for cozy winter nights by the fire. Dec 11, Melissa rated it liked it. If you ever get stuck in a blizzard, have no fear apparently a Cowboy will always come and rescue you!
I enjoy the stories. I like short story sometimes to keep me occupied when I waiting for the family to get ready or to go shopping or to a doctor's appointment or for a ride in the car I just like to read. Dec 31, June rated it really liked it Recommends it for: I enjoyed Christmas Cabin best. Sandy, an abandoned young mother, has taken her young son to get a Christmas tree when a snowstorm strikes. They find a cabin in the nick of time, and so does a cowboy.
Can't Wait was a little angst filled for me, when returning vets has one falling for the other's sister. Baby it's Cold Outside has internet dating leading to true love, with a little bump and snowstorm. Feb 07, Anne Blyth rated it liked it. Three fun quick reads, perfect for the holidays or a rainy day.
Perfect Trifecta I really enjoyed these three cowboy love stories. I will definitely be adding all three of these authors to my to be read lists. Dec 02, Dakota rated it it was ok. I almost really enjoyed the last story but then she had to go an marry the damn cowboy just like the other two stories.
Feb 10, Sandy M rated it really liked it Shelves: Every Christmas Sandy and Doug retell the story of how they met and became a family. Sandy and Nate, her five-year-old son, are trying to find that perfect Christmas tree. He points them in the direction of a cabin that will give them shelter. A very nice start to the anthology. No matter how or when she tries to get close enough to let him know how she feels, he backs away.
Caleb is a gentleman cowboy through and through, as well as romantic and alpha once all bets are off and a life with Summer is in the cards. Alana is finally tired of the surfers on her Hawaiian beaches, wanting more from a relationship. At the urging of her best friend, unsponantaneous Alana is in New Mexico to surprise Clint for the holidays.
Not having packed for a blizzard, Alana is pulling socks on her hands and anything else she can to keep warm. And this is where I laughed my butt off in this story. Even funnier is when Clint comes across her, singing her heart out as she tries to find shelter. The twists keep coming at the end, making this one fun and fast read.
But on the way there, a blizzard strands her with a womanizing rodeo cowboy who could change everything … Along the way she gets stuck then snowed in with a hot cowboy. It's free and yours to keep. Soon after cowboy Doug Thalberg arrives and each has what they most need for Christmas. Now that her three children are grown, Emma loves spending time crocheting and singing although not necessarily at the same time , and hiking and snowshoeing alongside her husband Jim and their rambunctious dog Uma. This is a common, incredibly dangerous, misconception. The twists keep coming at the end, making this one fun and fast read.
But these cowboys will win you over and give you a good time, even if it is Christmas in their world. The Christmas Cabin by Emma Cane Sandy and her young son, Nate, are Christmas tree—hunting when a snowstorm strikes and an old ranch hand points them to an abandoned cabin. Reporter, Jessica Fitzpatrick, sits in to hear the local, infamous story first-hand.
The tale is not told in a narrative form, but rather as if it were happening real-time. It concludes with the family and Jessica in the cabin. The full cast of characters are well-written. The plot, dialogue and character interaction are believable, flow is smooth. Because of the time frame and novella length, it's hard to pack a lot of dynamics in, but it did have some minor dimension.
The conflicts were fairly mild and handled maturely. Predictability was virtually nil. Overall, a super short, but sweet, read. Jack's his best friend and there's a bro-code to follow. If that's not enough, they served in Iraq together and he feels he owes his life to Jack. Even more, now he's even working for Jack on the ranch. To say Summer is off-limits is an understatement. But she's determined as all get-out to make him hers. Very few novellas manage to create character depth and a full and dynamic plot worthy of a 5-star rating from me, but Is it possible for a reader to fall in love with a novella's hero?
Caleb and Jack's tormented souls each deserve a full-length novel. Great characters, written with loads of depth and dimension. The dialogue is smart and sassy by turns. The plot is very enjoyable and flows so smoothly I wanted more. The entire plot was based on the conflict, which obviously gets resolved in a wonderful way. I easily would have enjoyed this story and these characters if it would have been a full-length novel and am intrigued with the rest of the series as a result.
But on the way there, a blizzard strands her with a womanizing rodeo cowboy who could change everything … Alana perpetually makes poor decisions when it comes to men, but she's done with that. Through an online date-matching site, she finds her perfect man. She decides to surprise him for the Holidays at the family ranch in Taos, NM but the Hawaiian is ill-prepared for the blizzard that causes her to slide into a ditch somewhere on the ranch's property.
She's even less prepared for a snow-laden calf or a sexy Cowboy Viking - Winter Warrior that finds her. This was a fun read. I totally and thoroughly enjoyed Alana.
Her winter warrior wasn't too bad either. The flow, dialogue, interaction was smooth and believable. The plot was light and fun. There was just enough dynamics and dimension to keep it from being flat. A very well-liked novella. Dec 20, Pam rated it it was amazing Shelves: Last year his father left them and Christmas wasn't to good. They go out to look for the perfect Christmas tree. Once they find it they realize they are lost in a snow. A stranger points her in the direction of a cabin. Once they make it there she starts a fire hoping to get survive the storm.
Another stranger tumbles in half frozen and she learns he owns the cabin. They are snowed in and as Christmas comes closer Sandy tries to make the best of it. Doug hasn't been feeling the holiday spirit but Sandy gets him in the mood. He soon realizes she has showed him so much more than what Christmas is about. I really liked this story. Sandy is so strong and sweet. She may have an illness but she doesn't let it get her down.
She and Doug have something special growing between them and you get to see it bloom. They share a simple few days snowed in but it shows them what they truly need. Nate is such a sweet boy you love him right away. I love how this book brought back simpler times. You don't need fancy things to have a wonderful Christmas and you never know when you will find love.
Can't Wait by Jennifer Ryan Summer has been in love with her brother's best friend for a while. She just can't get him to see how she isn't just his best friends little sister. Caleb wants Summer but would never cross the line and anger his best friend. He would rather leave than take a chance on being with Summer.
It's hard to fight wanting her when she lets it known over and over she is crazy for him. Will he ever let Summer get close and show her he loves her as well. Summer is a character you will love. She knows what she wants and will stop at nothing to get him.
She still plays it cool around her brother as she doesn't want to cause problems. She wants to help Caleb get over the ghost of his past and show him she would be the perfect wife. Caleb is a gentleman and it really shows. He is so afraid to let his love show. He works hard and once he makes his mind up you see how romantic he is. I love how he teases Summer.
This is an adorable story about two great people who try to do the right thing even if it will keep them apart. I love the ending and think it is perfect for this book.
She thinks she has found him in Clint. She decides to surprise him by going to meet him for Christmas.
Along the way she gets stuck then snowed in with a hot cowboy. While she can't keep her hands off him she soon finds he is Clint' s brother. The brother who likes to play the field. She knows she has to end things with Clint and say goodbye to the cowboy who heats her up. Not everything is as she thinks and she will soon see she may have a great Christmas after all. This is a great story as you get sizzle, laughs and more.
I kinda figured out what was going on but I have to say I loved Clint' s reaction near the end. Alana is awesome and can throw a mean snowball lol. I have to say one brother does seem like a jerk but I really liked Clint. They are a perfect match and you just wait for them to work things out. Overall I will say this book is wonderful as it has three fantastic stories each one gives you a great Christmas feeling.
You get love, heart warming, laughs sizzle and hot cowboys. How much more could you ask for. I know I wouldn't mind being snowed in with any of these cowboys. I look forward to getting more books by all three authors as they are all great writers and you want more of there books. Looking for a fantastic Christmas book here it is. Nov 11, Megan rated it really liked it Shelves: Taking shelter in a cabin they are surprised when another hiker appears at the cabin seeking shelter.
Doug had been hunting on his families ranch a few days before Christmas when the snowstorm comes up and causes him to seek shelter in an old cabin. When he gets there he finds a woman and her son taking shelter there as well. This is a nice sweet story that takes place few days before Christmas. We also have some light elements as Sandy and Nate decorate the cabin and they all play games to stay entertained. When Nate goes to sleep at night Doug and Sandy talk and the attraction between them grows. While this was a very short novella I did enjoy the characters and the writing.
I will be looking for more from this author. Even though they are attracted to each other, Caleb knows you never date a friends sister so he keeps his distance. Summer knows that Caleb has feelings for her so she temps him to take a chance on a relationship with her. I really loved this story. Caleb is a great somewhat tortured hero with is memories from war keeping him awake and giving him nightmares. He is sweet and honorable and just an all around great guy.
He did have his alpha moments and get dominant but they just added to him. I was happy that after they worked through their reasons not to be together that we got quite a bit of them as a couple. I liked seeing them interact and getting more of their happily ever after than I expected. A great Christmas romance! You submitted the following rating and review.
