The setting is wonderful and the food was excellent. We also enjoyed a cocktail on the newly openned rooftop terrace. If you do not know your way around Venice, the staff is very helpful and can make wonderful recommendations to you. The Palazzo is magnificent, the Canal Suite was superb. Unfortunately the reception at arrival and departure did by no means match it. We never felt being "Honoured Guests" The service at breakfast and at dinner in the restaurant on the terrace was very friendly not to say excellent.

The Ca'Sagredo always allows us to enjoy the magic of the city even when back at the hotel. The location is great, with a superb view, seperate from the most crowded areas, while remaining central enough. The personnel is very kind and helpful. A detail, the breakfast could be improved but this is counterbalanced by a very friendly service and the fabulous decor of the rooms all around Fantastic historic hotel right at the canal. We were there for a romantic getaway and there were nothing to remark on except a somewhat slow WiFi.

We will be coming back here. The Ca'Sagredo is a beautifully restored palazzo on the Grand Canal. Our upgraded junior suite was wonderful with an amazing view over the Grand Canal. The service was excellent and the hotel position fabulous. We would not hesitate to recommend it or to stay there next time we come to Venice!

The hotel setting on the banks of the Canal Grande was lovely and we also had an enjoyable afternoon watching the annual boat Gondola race on the canals from the hotel resturant on the waters edge. Our upgrade to a small suite was greatly appreciated, and the rooms were perfect. Staff was very friendly and professional, and I will gladly return.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay of six nights. The location was great for everything we wanted to do during our stay. The staff was very accommodating and gave us an upgrade. Their private taxi service from the airport was wonderful! We were well taken care of throughout our stay. After reading so many negative comments on so many Venice hotels, I was quite nervous before fhe trip as it was meant to be a special surprise for my husband's birthday.

I had no reason to fear. The room was beautiful and large, no noise, the staff was friendly and helpful. We had the birthday dinner in the hotel's restaurant, even though I normally avoid a hotel restaurant. We are quite critical on gastronomy being married to a French, what else do you expect? Definitely the place to stay and to eat in Venice! Ask at check-in about trips that they offer for free to guests.

We've heard about the trip to Murano the day after we've been there. Facilities were absolutely stunning, lovely rooms from the lobby to the bedrooms. Service was impeccable, staff went out of their way to be polite and helpful. Breakfast was lovely and the signora who headed up the service was such an exceptional joy to be around in the morning. Location was great, quiet, yet central. Vaporetto located almost onsite. For a stay in Venice, the Ca'Sagredo is a must!

Take at least one long trip around the Grand Canal on the water taxi, but moving on foot is best. Just take a map and follow the signs and enjoy the beauty of such a unique city! Well preserved historic house, the location is excellent. Perfect hotel in a great city out of time. Located in heart of the city. Warm hospitality and tastefully furnished room upgraded to a jr suite complete with views of the canal. Located around the corner from the Vaporetti. When asking for directions, be sure to include Hotel's street name, not just the Hotel name. Ca'Sagredo is the perfect palazzo updated to the lluxury of the 21st century without disrupting the unique ambiance.

The service was memorably good. The breakfast staff were incredibly welcoming, as was everyone at the front desk from the moment of arrival to early morning departure.. Most everything is within relatively easy walking distance but do yourself a favor and buy a daily 12 hour vaporretto ticket at the local tobacconist and take unlimited daily trips out of the Ca'd'oro stop down the next hidden alley. I, personally, would not stay anywhere else if I have a chance to return to Venice.

Very friendly and helpfull staff; a quiet location for a romantic trip in Venice, close to attractions and enough far away from noise of the heart of the city accessible by walk or gondola in a few minutes. Our upgraded room thanks a lot for this gift! However, two remarks on points to improve: Dear Mr Vaudour, We thank you for your kind message and we are pleased to hear the nice word about the room you have been accommodated to and that you have enjoyed our beautiful Palace and its location.

It is important for us to provide a good service and we are extremely pleased to hear that our Staff was helpful and friendly. Please rest assured that your comments are taken into consideration as we value our Guests opinion to improve our service. We hope to welcoming you again to our hotel and we remain at your entire disposal should you need any further assistance. This is a truly beautiful, historic building right at the Ca d'Oro vaporetto stop, and it has its own dock entrance for that important feeling upon arrival. The old palazzo is beautifully maintained and our room a second floor junior suite was huge, gorgeous and lavish.

While the restaurant is not up to the highest standard of some of the Osteria of Venice, it was quite good indeed, especially considering we ate there Easter Sunday night, when most places have just a set menu. The hotel's restaurant served a full a la carte menu that night, which was a great plus.

I have stayed at other luxury hotels on the Schiavone facing Giudecca. I prefer that location, but I prefer the rooms here. And breakfast was exceptional. There's a piano lounge on the second floor. If the noise goes on too late, just complain and they'll make it go away. We are pleased you had a lovely stay with us and you appreciated our beautiful historical rooms, the beauty of the palace in general and our hotel services. We do hope to welcome you back soon!

This is a gorgeous facility. One can imagine oneself at a ball during Carnival under the grand chandeliers and frescoed ceilings. We were greeted with smiles and check in was a breeze. We were upgraded to a suite. The decor and fabrics draperies, bedding, upholsteries are top grade. A small matter, but one that matters to ladies, this hotel offers face cloths, which are not available in many European hotels. Breakfast, which is delicious and varied, is served in lovely rooms adjacent to the music room--be sure to look up at the ceilings. We received wonderful service from the front desk for ticket reservations and directions to restaurants.

On prior trips to Venice we've stayed near St. Now, having experienced the quiet of this neighborhood, we will return to Ca' Sagredo. Venice is one of our favorite cities and we have never experienced better service than that at this hotel. Ca' Sagerdo has it's own Water Taxi dock, so arriving and departing is easy. Next door is the public transportation dock, very handy. Ca' Sagredo also has a terrace fronting the Grand Canal, a nice place for a cup of coffee or glass of wine.

Top marks all around. We always treasure our guests' comments and suggestions in order to improve our standards and quality of service. We are pleased to read that you had a lovely stay with us and that you appreciated our beautiful historical palace, with its special rooms and dedicated service. Ca Segrado sits right on the Grand Canal: Our bags were whisked away and we were at once delighted with our choice of hotel, it really does have the proper Venetian palazzo atmosphere.

Our junior suite on 1 st floor with floor to ceiling windows overlooking the gondolas and palaces on the Grand Canal was beautifully furnished, spotlessly clean and grand without being over formal. Indeed that is the atmosphere throughout the hotel - staff are friendly and helpful and are always there without being over- attentive.

Breakfast is a treat in a magnificent setting and there is even a small terrace on the waterside to enjoy your first Bellini. We could walk everywhere in Venice easily from the hotel and the Ca Doro vaporetto stop is right next to the hotel. From there you can easily reach StMarks or the railway station by water, or you can walk to the stop to get the boat out to Murano and the other islands.

We loved Venice -staying at Ca Segrado Hotel was the icing on the cake. We had a wonderful stay in this 14th century authentic palazzo facing the Grand Canal. It is hard to believe the building is almost hundred years old unlike some shabby locations in Venice. Hotel is located two minutes walk from Ca d'Oro vaporetto station which is quite convenient if you use the water transport advisable when tired! Walk to San Marco is about 20 minutes and to Rialto bridge is just 5 min. The hotel is located in a very lively area with shops, cafe's and various attractions.

I'd recommend El Pasador restaurant which is just across Rialto bridge there's also a traghetto, or ferry service by gondola right next to hotel which gets you to the other side in two minutes for 2 Euro. We stayed on the 3rd floor facing the Grand Canal and the view to wake up in the morning is splendid. The best experience, apart from that, is the breakfast served in the breakfast hall with the murals and the original frescos on the ceiling.

We arrived early and couldn't get an early check in as the hotel was fully booked. The staff at the reception is very helpful albeit some of them were defensive. That a bit spoiled the cool ambiance of being a doge's guest in his grand palazzo. However, in general it is rather good service. For instance, the barman himself made us a salad late at night when the cook had already left. Also we were offered a free tour to the Rialto fish market with the hotel's chef Michele who explained various things about splendid variety of fresh catch offered on the counters.

So in general I highly recommend this hotel even though some of the staff could benefit from the professional training. We are the champions of small, independent luxury hotels ensuring our guests enjoy truly authentic travel experiences.
