Dani and Cherri are both called as witnesses to the event which took place at the end of book one. Here Dani and Cherri's trysts are put on public blast and each learn how to move forward now that their sexuality is public knowledge. I enjoyed the character development in this book as Dani and Cherri are both dynamic characters and have matured since book one. Dani discovers a box hidden by her father and its contents lead Dani to stop feeling shame for her proclivities and the courage to pursue what SHE wants.

Cherri has also grown from an attention-seeking, overly sexed young adult to an alluring and charismatic woman. She treats her fans well and shows great restraint when in the public eye. I struggled with what to rate this book because I have enjoyed the adventures of both Dani and Cherri but compared to the first book this one just didn't deliver as I had hoped.

The major problem for me was a lack of consistency. Some events from the last book are portrayed differently in the character's memories and I was confused a great deal at times. For example, a client of Dani's is called Crystal and then three pages later her name is suddenly Candy with no mention of a nickname. As a reader this was very frustrating. Overall, it was a good read and I will still pick up the final book to see if Dani and Cherri have a happily ever after. May 31, Poison rated it really liked it Shelves: I liked the way the story unfolds, I liked the characterization, and I really enjoyed the interplay between Dani and Cherri.

I think in a lot of ways, you really get the feeling of truth in how hard being young, and different, or at least, the feeling of being different is. Falling has a much different feel than Summer Secret, I definitely enjoyed this one. May 24, Ahi rated it really liked it.

As per always J. T delivered, definitely recommended. Apr 18, Claire rated it it was ok Shelves: While reading this, I had to keep reminding myself that this is set in the mid nineties and folks weren't as open about same sex couples as they are now most of the time. I kind of forgot about the whole Greg thing from the last book but it was nice to take a break from all the sex.

Dani really bothered me this time around. She confused me, she both know what she wanted and didn't know what she wanted. You can't have both. And while she clearly prefers women she has no issues with using her sex While reading this, I had to keep reminding myself that this is set in the mid nineties and folks weren't as open about same sex couples as they are now most of the time. And while she clearly prefers women she has no issues with using her sexuality to get her way.

And it's lovely that all these women are so comfortable being naked around each other and I have no problem being naked but really, it's too much and frankly I don't think this happens. And finally, if Dani is so hell bent on having Cherri in her life why is trying to sleep with every other woman in the planet? I really thought she has tickets on herself that every woman she meets must want to sleep with her.

It was great to see her turned down a few times. In the end, nothing was really resolved. Not sure if there is another, not sure if I will read it if there is On a brief sidebar.. Maybe it was an editing thing. Mar 12, Bree Paige rated it liked it Shelves: I actually prefered this book than the first cherri red. This was more fun to read. It has Plenty of sex. Pervert monolouge that make me confuse.

Dani have changed a lot. She was so pervert. If I were the author I will notify the readers about the sequel bcoz if not the low rating will keep on coming We need justice and we need to be enlighten about Cherri Jul 07, Delitealex rated it liked it.
