Madame (The Plays Collection Book 3)

That's how strong they were together. From the first disaster to the next. I was going from left to right looking back and forth as the pivetti crime family crumbled apart. We all know that loyalty is such a key rule and way of life in any crime family The main theme for this book was Loyalty and trust. But there are also parts where you find out things along with Mac and Melina. Things they didn't even know. Madame Moll was a great way to end Mac and Melina's story. Erin and Bethany-kris are clearly very compatible in the story writing world and have created a story with a strong fierce couple, an engaging storyline and action that leave you wanting more.

It was a major success in other words. And I want to see more of him and a certain someone together! Nov 25, Varied Books marked it as skimmed-not-for-me. The writing was wonky, seemed like a different writing voice. The perfect ending for Mac and Melina. I loved it, it was everything i expected and more. Deffinitely one hell of a book! We are left with the last book's cliffy. Who is it and when will the police stop taking in members? There's a power play going on, the boss is not out so who will win?

Life is good and Mac and Melina are enjoying life with their newborn son. But isn't it only the calm before the storm? No boss to rule, the snakes are out to play! Mac and Melina will h 5 stars! Mac and Melina will have to figure out a way to turn the tables and stay alive. This book was action packed with very much love, passion and angst. I could not have asked for a better ending for one of my favourite's couple. Dec 09, Paganalexandria rated it really liked it Shelves: Nov 18, Suzanne Lily rated it it was amazing Shelves: Loved it and I am so excited for what these guys are going to write next: Gone are the days when I am in search of good authors who write books I want to read.

This week I had the envious task of deciding which Bethany-Kris new release I would read next. There was no need to stress, Madame Moll is written with subtle references to the past for wh 4. There was no need to stress, Madame Moll is written with subtle references to the past for which I sent a silent thank you for each time I came across a memory prompt. Mac and Melina have become as close as possible to being the perfect partners in their marriage. Love, kindness and femininity were traits Melina retained remaining remained true to the gun moll persona she had acquired early on in this series.

Together they are a force to be respected. There were some aspects to the story I happily went along with because I was convinced by the character's belief in what they were doing. In the Gun Moll series it worked well. The threats to their happiness as Mac cautiously progresses up the hierarchy in the family are from within.

With the fear of what could be, Mac and Melina were determined to be one step ahead of their enemy, the majority of the story focused on their lives and the adjustments they had to cope with in being new parents. Their new little bundle of joy was adorable. I could wholeheartedly relate to the anguish of being torn with time for each other and the fear of leaving your baby for the first time with loved ones.

What I had no trouble overlooking was the way they earned their keep and the aspirations they had in life. It took nothing away from the story that we got a glimpse into the lives of two passionate people who were building their own empire and embracing the beginnings of a family dynasty. The epilogue took me over the edge of delight. I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book. This review and others can be found at EDGyReviews I mean I was still as excited as when it came out.

Melina and Mac, my effing loves. I think BK has a way of hooking me in from the first word when I have just turned rather impatient with books.

Madame Moll

Thanks to my unhealthy obsession with insta smut! Now we have their ending and I am teary.

Their ending is not just about them and there ar This story.. Their ending is not just about them and there are so many people involved but most importantly the precious Marquise! A lot stood in their way but they found eachother. And the ending was totally bittersweet for me and a long time coming.

God knows I waited patiently! Oh, how much I missed Mac and Melina! And God, how much I loved this book! What can I say, the ladies do can write amazeballs books. I just want more and more. Dec 12, Shirley rated it it was amazing. Once again Melina proved herself to be one strong and feisty lady I bloody love her. As for Mac well he's defiantly going on my most loved H shelf. This instalment had a few twists and turns which I loved and kept me guessing until the end.

Nov 05, Janee rated it it was amazing Shelves: It was no drama between Melina and Mac, only with the outside world. It made for an outstanding story. I love when everything comes together so the couple is strong. Nothing was going get in their way. Thank you to both authors for an entertaining series.

ARC given to honest review. The Gun Moll series is personally an all time favorite of mine. They can trust no one, but themselves. Family means everything, and Mac will do just about everything to keep his queen safe. By any means necessary! This is the end of the trilogy. Lots going on, the plot is full of twists and turns, no-one trusts anyone and no-one is safe. Melina and Mac are strong with each other and loyal even if their whole world around them is crumbling. A good conclusion to the series. Terrific third book Not sure on whether to say great ending to an incredible storyline or could there be more from the secondary characters and the children.

Would love to see enrich and Vic get their story told.

See a Problem?

But another great storyline from these amazing authors you just can't go wrong with them. Nov 25, Smiley rated it it was ok. Bethany Kris is a much better writer on her own. This entire series has been very very predictable and mediocre. I personally think that they could have taken out a whole load of content, and just made it into one long book. Also, Mac literally just became a made man like three seconds ago, then a second later he became a Capo, and then half a beat later he was Boss.

What kind of insanity is this? The storyline of Luca and Neeya was also very obvious. As soon as she was liquidating her assets, I knew straight away. He had a lot of struggles, considering he was going through Phsio, plus the hints of Romance between him and Vic. Plus, what happened to her ex boss who manages the escort business? I know, I know, I sound like a broken record.. Not because of the mafia! It was actually very boring.

I kind of read it for the sake of reading it.. And the surprise of Erika and Anthony This entire series was just so Nov 21, Tanaka K rated it it was amazing Shelves: I know they are fictional characters but to me they are la familia through and through. I lived and breathed them. I inhaled their drama, careers, obstacles, tragedy and love. I was pulled in to their lives in the mafia and the criminal world. Seriously Mac and Melina are one of my favourite mafia couple of all time. Man, I was excited to read this. I waited such a long time for this book and it was worthwhile.

They made my heart stop and quicken at the same time. Their writing was just flawless and pulled me into a world of the Italian mafia. I was completely bewitched. What an amazing ending. I was really satisfied. Mac and Melina are the modern Bonnie and Clyde but more badass and dangerous.

Mac and Melina's relationship couldn't be better, but unfortunately the trouble in the Cosa Nostra could have a negative impact on everything that they have achieved. Views Read Edit View history. Despite being cautious, Melina is fooled and betrayed by a traitor and until this traitor is identified, they could lose everything. When the powerful Pivetti crime boss is targeted by law enforcement, his seat is up for grabs, and there is more than one man who thinks he is right for the job.

I loved them to death. Mac and Melina are just the most enchanting mafia couple. Mac was dangerous, magnetic, loyal to the family and straight up protective of it. He is a take charge guy and I liked that. Melina was still the fierce, strong and badass woman ever. She was the type who was able to handle the criminal world and it totally impressed. I always loved her and this book made completely a fan o her. It is bittersweet because I followed Mac and Melina's journey and to see it end kind of makes me sad.

However this book is unforgettable and will always be one of my favourites ever. ARC provided by author in exchange for an honest review. Nov 25, A Klue rated it really liked it. They love each other. They have a child. They frequently have very graphic smexy, lusty scenes. They certainly have each others back. There were some twists, turns, and bloodshed and drama near the end. Rather if I do, I have a feeling this review would come across as nit picky and tiresome to read.

For this particular story line any other way would not have fit his character. Gun Moll Book 3 , Author: This is my honest, unbiased opinion.

It is definitely the most exciting of the bunch with a ton of action, plots and twists that were never a strong point of this series. It might sound silly but I like that in this series, especially this novel, they weren't equipped with powerhouse lawyers and corrupt judges; at least not a lot.

Their lawyers had to work for it and sometimes they really had no other choice but to reinforce that mafia connection. Unfortunately, this came towards the end and though forgotten, I figured the demise of Mac and Melina from book two, but maybe that was the point?

Because in all honesty, the focus here was not Cosa Nostra but Mac, Melina and their decisions as a family. After all, the only person with a spine or the balls to challenge a Boss seat in this family was Mac's old, dead boss and Anthony. Hardly a story line.

I've always loved getting a bit of every one's take and I could hardly tell that there were different authors for different characters but Mac's POV was my fave. He was the definition of level-headed. They remain the anchors they've always been and while I would have loved a more memorable climax, I must say that I truly enjoyed this novel the best, even if it was once again, towards the end and I would definitely revisit the other characters of this series.

However, once again, Luca and Neeya totally upstaged anything Mac and Melina did in this novel but the epilogue saved it all, even if was once again, not really about them. Nov 27, Brittany rated it it was amazing. Two peas in a pod. And at every turn, it se Mac and Melina. And at every turn, it seemed the cards stacked against the two, they truly can only trust one another to make it out unscathed.

The way he speaks to her, a smart ass and sweetheart all at once, always heaving her best interest at heart. She is just as a dangerous force as Mac. These two, are simply relationship goals.

ARC generously provided for an honest review! Nov 19, Brigitte rated it it was amazing Shelves: This was well worth waiting for. It's a splendid addition to this series. Mac and Melina's relationship couldn't be better, but unfortunately the trouble in the Cosa Nostra could have a negative impact on everything that they have achieved.

The Pivetti family is going through a period of unrest. Without a boss and a rat amongst the midst, the famiglia is in disarray. One of the Capos who fancies himself as the new boss is doing his best to undermine Mac. He also longs for more recognition of his artistic contributions to the Sabine house, but his efforts are often thwarted by his dominating family and his own anti-social behavior. The series also follows Billy Novak, a young American photographer who is hired by the Sabine family. He's inspired by and falls in love with a seamstress-turned-model named Nina.

She, however, is more concerned with finding the illegitimate son she was recently forced to give up for adoption. The series includes the lives and relationships of other employees in the fashion house. It also addresses the atmosphere of uneasiness and paranoia that arose in the Cold War era, as well as the hunt for former Nazi collaborators.
