Focused individuals tend to accomplish more, enjoy a higher standard of living, and often live life more passionately, making each day an adventure instead of simply a destination.

I don't know that I will ever be able to do the whole foods discipline in "Nourish" but the chapter helped me to think about why I eat what I do and I think that will stay with me as a good practice. Well written with a gentle ease and guiding light, Frances offers her life experiences up with a practical guide for living life on life's terms. Oh, yeah, and the process she so generously gives us works.

The author knows about addiction and healing but does not dwell on the grim details. Loving yourself and finding your path back to health is the focus of this book. Seems like a short read, but there is a lot packed in the book.
