IF NOT FOR THE LOVE OF THE BILLIONAIRE TRUST (Billionaire Soul Mate Book 1)

Happily Ever Alpha: Falling for the Billionaire

There is so much more to her than met the eye in the other stories. In this book, we discover Elizabeth's "ess Let's be clear In this book, we discover Elizabeth's "essence". Dominic King is a force to be reckoned with. I love how the story alternates between their two perspectives. The book is full of misunderstandings between Elizabeth and Dominic. This alternating narrative allows the reader to understand each person's perspective. It is a tale of love, commitment but not in a way that the reader expects. A bit of mystery is thrown in to keep the reader "guessing".

If you like Nadia Lee's books, you'll love this one. If you've never read one of her books, then this book is an excellent starting point. This is the first book of a duet. I loved Dominic and Elizabeth together, but it's not sunshine and rainbows for these two. I can't tell you how much I disliked Elizabeth's parents and grandmother. They are some bad seeds. Dominic is all about getting revenge on Elizabeth. His one tack mind might just cost him the best thing to come into his life. My heart goes out to Elizabeth being This is the first book of a duet.

My heart goes out to Elizabeth being manipulated by so many and not getting to live the life she wanted. She's sacrificed so much for those she loves. This book ends on one heck of cliff hanger. I'm going to be impatiently awaiting the second part of this duet. This first book of the duet is equally hot as it is suspenseful! It is sooo good! After unwittingly crushing Dominic King's world a decade earlier, Elizabeth Pryce-Reed finds herself no less immune to the feelings his mere presence evokes. Still out for blood without the full story, Dominic is determined to hurt her the way she did hi Daaaaayum!!!

Still out for blood without the full story, Dominic is determined to hurt her the way she did him. As pieces fall into place, will they get a chance to fight for their love, or will Elizabeth's past snuff out their happy ending before it begins? That is the question Ms. Lee leaves us with at the end of this book, as we eagerly await the conclusion to this breathtaking saga.

I didn't know this was part of a duet originally, so there is a cliffhanger. BUT the conclusion comes within a few weeks so woo hoo!! I really liked Dominic and Elizabeth's relationship at the very beginning. While I wished things had been more open, I understand why they weren't and why they couldn't see each other any longer. But I still have so many unanswered questions about Elizabeth and her background and her decisions she's made.

I guess those will get answered in the next part. I definit I didn't know this was part of a duet originally, so there is a cliffhanger. I definitely got roped into this story. I wanted to know how Dominic and Elizabeth could or if they would get past their history. I can't wait for the conclusion so I can find out how they get through it! May 06, Naomi Connor rated it really liked it.

This book was completely captivating. Dominic and Elizabeth were perfect together but due to the past they have became estranged. When they first met, Dominic was bringing up his little sister and just barely getting by, however Elizabeth cam from a wealthy family but she never disclosed that information simply wanting to be loved for just being her.

Years later Dominic is out for revenge but will he learn the truth before its too late? This story was built on emotion and RAW passion. They have amazing chemistry and their story is one not to miss. Poignant and tear inducing I've been waiting on Elizabeth's story for quite sometime and boy it did not disappoint. She had to essentially give up her dreams to satisfy her manipulative family and she has become a shell of herself over the last 10yrs. Dominic has continued to mistrust her and hurt her even deeper. I cried so much reading this story. She has to have her HEA because she has given up so much and is still suffering.

I am on pins waiting for the conclusion to her story. Dominic needs Poignant and tear inducing I've been waiting on Elizabeth's story for quite sometime and boy it did not disappoint.

Dominic needs to grovel for sure. So worth the wait! Knowing this was book one of a duet had me debating if I wanted to read it now or wait until the second one was released to read it together. But I just couldn't wait! Believe it or not I thought Blake's story was one of my favorites but it has nothing on Elizabeth's. I loved part 1 of her story and could not put it down. I can't wait to read the conclusion, but I'm going to be really sad since she the last of the Pryce-Reeds.

Two thumbs up to Nadia for another amazing book! Apr 24, Amie Peterson rated it it was amazing. Nadia Lee has done it again. She seems all put together and then find out she has so many layers you will never unravel them. I just want to devour him. I absolutely cannot wait for the next book to come out. Apr 24, Suzzie rated it really liked it. I received this book as an ARC. I voluntarily give my review. This is my honest review. First off this is an excellent book.

It grabs your attention and keeps it throughout the entire book. My only complaint is it ends with a cliff hanger.

I will be waiting on the next installment. Wonderful author and a great book. I highly recommend this book. Apr 27, Helene rated it it was amazing. However, in this book, Nadia Lee takes it to a whole new level. A relationship that was was choreographed by family. You will not me disappointed.

This is probably the best in this series. Jun 14, Iman rated it it was ok. The story moved at a path too slow for me. May 07, Kara rated it it was amazing. Oh holy sweet mother! This book was off the charts HOTT!! Elizabeth and Dominic are sizzling right from the start! The heat and the steam was enough to burn my kindle up! I can't wait to read what's next for this couple. May 06, Melanie Milburn rated it it was amazing. I loved her story! You finally discover what has made her into the driven head of the family foundation and the cause of the bit of sadness behind her eyes. Apr 30, Nancy D rated it it was amazing. I rarely give 5 star reviews but I was so caught up in Kara and Simon's story I was swept along with it. Off to start Sam's story, I have a hard time believ It is official.

Off to start Sam's story, I have a hard time believing I can love a character as much as I loved Simon but I'm wont be surprised it happens. Highly recommended for lovers of intense erotic romance. Was a nice enjoyable easy read, and a bargain price for the set.

At one point when it was hinting at Simon never having had a girlfriend, except one woman when he was 16 and his life changed yadda yadda - I worried it was going to go down a Mrs Robinson copy of 50 shades of grey, but thankfully it did not Kara frustrated me at the halfway point! She decided she can wait until Simon is ready to tell her what had happened to him when he was young, let him do it in his ow 3.

She decided she can wait until Simon is ready to tell her what had happened to him when he was young, let him do it in his own time, then the very next day is emotionally blackmailing the poor guy to get him to tell her! In fact she seemed quite willing to use his fear of losing her to get her own way a lot tbh! But, all in was a decent enough read and I may pick up Sam's story in the future.

View all 4 comments. I purposely stay away from 'Billionaire' books for obvious reasons. I was surprised that I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Simon was an Alpha Dom yet he was kind, sweet, and endearing. The heroine was nobody's fool and the two of them worked together very well--Great chemistry for them and hot sex scenes for us. It was a great read and I think I got it for.

I was very pleasantly surprised in all aspects. I'll definitely be checking out more from this Author. I love this series. Simon is a gruff, awkward computer "geek". He is also a hot Alpha male. Kara is a poor college student struggling to make ends meet and get her nursing degree. Simon watches Kara from afar for a year. She works for his mom and Kara walks by his apartment every night on the way home from work. He follows her to make sure she gets home ok. She has never met Simon until one fateful night walking home from work and still battling sickness she passes out in the middle of the sidew I love this series.

She has never met Simon until one fateful night walking home from work and still battling sickness she passes out in the middle of the sidewalk. Simon catches her and takes her inside, gets a dr called for her and nurses her back to health. Simon offers Kara a deal she can't refuse-one night with him in exchange for him helping her with school and any other financial obligations.

Is this a Twin Flame/Karmic/Soul Mate Relationship?

She doesn't have to take the one night- he will help her anyway. Simon and Kara have an undeniable chemistry. Kara takes him up on her one night she can't resist. But is one night enough for them? I recommend this series to anyone who likes the Alpha male with issues, the girl who can turn it all around and HEA! This book isn't just about bedding each other though- there is that but there is also a real plot line and drama to go along with it.

I love the characters in this series. I can not get enough!

The Billionaire's Obsession ~ Simon by J.S. Scott

Wow, I loved this series. Kara Hudson, is trying to finish nursing school and work full time to support herself, but bad luck seems to follow her. She is a very independent woman who would rather do without than ask for help. Simon Hudson, is a billionaire, who has been obsessed with Kara, since the first time he saw her working in his mother's restaurant. Kara, is a warm, loving, and feisty woman and Simon, is alpha male, possessive, and quite bossy. Once these two get together, the sparks real Wow, I loved this series. Once these two get together, the sparks really ignite.

Kara can tell from the beginning that Simon, has been scarred by things in his past, and being the type of person that she is, wants to help him deal with whatever it is. He is not the only one with issues though, because Kara has a real problem, with the fact that he is so wealthy, and she has always been one paycheck away from poverty. You will have to read the book to see how these two, get past all of their differences, to see if they can possibly have a future together.

Loved it, and really looking forward to reading the book about Sam and Maddie, Simon's brother and Kara's friend, who we got to meet in this series. Scott, for making me fall in love with the characters in this book, and not wanting to put it down or have it end. What a pleasant surprise! Found the first story of this trilogy "free" at iBook store and gave it a try. Enjoyed both characters so much that I went back to pick up the sequel s and found the entire series wrapped up in this book for 99 cents at the iBook store. Simon was a heartthrob. A girl's fantasy come true!

He met Kara over a year ago and well He had some issues that had him staying away from her, but that all came to a screeching halt PDQ. T What a pleasant surprise! The chemistry was off the charts! Some scenes had me fanning myself. She had a difficult life and Simon stepped right up to the plate in a grand way and became her guardian angel. I thought the characters had depth.

Who could resist Simon, honestly. Four books, one amazing series, one fantastic box set. I loved this story so much, each time wanting more and Author JS Scott did not disappoint, giving me more of Simon and Kara. Simon is totally in love with Kara and she is falling for him, two wonderful characters each with stubborn personalities but fantastic to read about. You hear all about Simon's past which is stomach churning to read, but he opens up to Kara, she is slowly stripping away all his defences and there is nothing he can do about it, he loves her too much, only thing he never backs down from is her safety it means everything to him, without her in his life, he would be a shell of a man.

Kara can't believe how lucky she is to have a man like Simon in her life. She has never been a one for extravagant gifts, she has had to watch every penny. Rather than buy gifts, she likes to make things for Simon or think of something he would like, it comes from the heart, she is a wonderful person, no wonder Simon is in love with her. Life is not without it's ups and downs, so unfortunately things don't run smooth for this couple but one thing is for sure LOVE will always remain.

I did not expect this to be so good! Not mind-blowing, angsty, full of emotion story, but this is just a perfect book when you just want a romance with some spice, a hot billionaire rescuing a poor girl type of story. It's not all lovey-dovey, some parts were funny, the heroine's not annoying, the hero's an alpha.

It's classic but not boring. Now I'm off to Sam and Maddie's story, the hero's brother book: Heart of the Billionaire: Dec 23, Kim C. I just loved the sweetness of this book! Simon was such a caveman, but his combined bossiness and vulnerability melted my heart. Kara was a strong and sassy and not afraid of her feelings. And I absolutely swooned over the heart wishes. Mine for tonight- Kara is a nursing student who also works as a waitress. Her bosses son, Simon, is totally taken by Kara even though they have never met. When Simon see's Kara walking home from work in an outfit so unlike her he begins to follow her.

He takes her up to his penthouse and has a doctor check her over. She has been sick with a virus for the past few days. The doctor recommends food, fluid and Mine for tonight- Kara is a nursing student who also works as a waitress. The doctor recommends food, fluid and rest. Simon demands she stay with him until she is feeling better. His only pay back is that she doesn't work other then school. When that finally happens, she comes to realize that Simon is hiding something.

But will he let her? Is there more to this one night of passion between the two of them? They have spent some time getting to know each other and she knows that something bad has happened to him. She wants to figure out what it was and help him to get over it. At the clinic where Kara volunteer's, 2 men hold her at gun point wanting drugs. When Kara trips the alarm, the men vow to her that they will get her. Kara knows that she is falling for Simon. When she walks down to the boat dock to get away, Sam ends up propositioning her. Sam runs into her at a restaurant and asks to speak to her. He apologizes to her and tells her that Simon is miserable without her.

She accepts his apology and leaves the restaurant. She is fighting against them. On to book He finally comes clean with her and explains where he got his scars from. Sam is mentioned in this book and it seem's that he still has feelings for Maddie At the end Simon finally takes the steps to move forward in their relationship She has one thing she wants-for him to sign a prenuptial agreement. When she brings it up, he totally freaks out. She has been so emotional lately that she asks Maddie to run some blood work.

The results are surprising. You have to read it to find out Needing nothing less than a miracle to save her, Kara gets rescue from an unknown, unlikely and overwhelming source. I do understand that the author is from Brazil, but it just means then that she needs a better editor to tidy this up. Plus I felt that the story was too short, that perhaps more could have been done with it. I started with a couple of chapters one evening, then finished the rest in one sitting the next afternoon! Plus not only were the characters real, you can understand everything that went on, why they ended up where they were.

Definitely one of the best of the bunch so far! The characters felt real, their connection was obvious, with a lovely and unexpected for one side HEA at the end.

The whole premise, setting, and storyline had it all set up to be a great story. I felt that it was poorly told, however. Not only that, I just wish that the author could have decided on either US or UK English and stuck with it — the mix drove me crazy! Add to that the use of kilometres kilometres? This story had a lot of good ideas in it, but it was just all thrown together, rushed. There was no time to breathe whilst the narrator just had to get all her story out at once.

Tough subjects need to be broached delicately and gradually. A narrative should never sound like a witness statement something I had to learn myself in writing. It meant that the ending was the best part, simply because all the chaos had calmed and the last part of the story was told more broadly and smoothly. It, too, suffered from spots of lack of editing. Plus I wish that Americans would get used to the difference between Majesty and Highness — calling a Prince Majesty the whole time is confusing and implies that the country is a Principality, not a Monarchy.

Falling for the Billionaire by Mary Hughes Rating: The beginning is confusing, but the fun and action that comes afterwards makes up for that somewhat. Each learn hard life lessons and all ends well. The start was OK, the middle was good, but the ending was terrible. Songbird by Sydney Logan Rating: At the end of the day, love wins through. A high-class escort meets super-rich guy and they fall in love.

It was a story that could have had so much more to it, so perhaps that added to the disappointment, too. I actually quite liked it.

It was an enjoyable story, but strange ending. Plus, what happens to her? Hmmm… hide spoiler ] At first, not knowing the author and just seeing the name, I, obviously, believed it to be written by a man, though it turns out that it is an alias for a female author. Yet the story itself is written from a male point of view. The second reason is that the idea here is another one to do with trust, but because of a man with a difficult addiction — a sex addiction.

A story where the past paints the present and how one not only recovers from it but finds the tools in order to become a better person. Is it possible for Brady to recover and can Shannon learn to trust him again? Arrangement with a Billionaire by Mandy Rosko Rating: I might have to reread it at some point to try and fit it all together somewhat better.

But I was also disappointed that it seemed to end too soon, with all those possibilities looming… I was also lucky enough to beta read this story and add a little input, yet the story was almost-perfect at that time, anyway! After rereading in HEA: Although I did notice this time something perhaps missing — whilst the prologue does tie in with the rest of the story, it would have been nice if it had actually been discussed or referred to at some point. Right by Debbie White Rating: The story was just pretty bland throughout, with little suspense or action. There was nothing to grip me or hold me in the story and I was so tempted just to skim the last few pages.

Oh well, only a few hours wasted! This took a ridiculously long time to read, but it is long! A typical mix of very good, good, mediocre, and terrible, I'm actually surprised how many stories here I liked. Therefore, the average rating of 3. Feb 01, Ola Adamska rated it really liked it Shelves: This is a box set of 20 great authors! Each book will have its review! That thing made me fell in love with Kacie! Book is pleasent, but for me Jacqueline was artif This is a box set of 20 great authors! Book is pleasent, but for me Jacqueline was artificial with her subbmition to Race, she was too willing to serve him. You can read it within 2 hours. Characters are like you want them, plot had a few surprises and well there is some part of domination that i really enjoyed. That happened to Cara.

Her life ended the minute Philipe had cheated on her. What you do in that situation: Than fate put his brothers in front of you and he takes you for a trip. You will Discover in book! Why spend New Year's alone when you can fly first class with a sexy billionaire? That was nine years ago and neither Cam nor Maddie have moved on. Fast forward to present day and you have Cam desperate to find someone to pretend to be his fiancee so that he can convince his grandfather to sell him the family cottage so that his Aunt can continue to live there and not be forced out. I loved that Cam would do anything to help out his paralyzed Aunt, she is truly the only family he has that doesn't have a heart of stone.

Can I say that I was cheering for Cam when he put his father and grandfather both in their places. Cam didn't care that Maddie's family was not the best, he loved her for her, and he made sure everyone knew it. Right by Debbie White Feb 10, Susan Foulkes rated it really liked it. This was a mixed bag of stories from authors I know and love and some "new to me " authors. Some stories were weaker than others, but the variety of billionaires kept me reading. There was only one story that I couldn't get into - a matter of personal taste rather than bad writing.

I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. Feb 12, Angela rated it it was amazing. Wow, there is not enough good for me to say! Originally, I had only planned to read a few of these stories so that I could base my review, but then it was "just one more. I didn't get it finished but I will definitely be going back to finish this entire box set.

Trust me, you can't read just one, either. Feb 14, Raphaela Jackson rated it it was amazing. A boxset with 20 billionaires? Serruya introduces passionate characters, this time into fabulous, real-world American billionaire settings. Serruya's unique signature of brisk, engaging scenes and her great character A boxset with 20 billionaires? Serruya's unique signature of brisk, engaging scenes and her great characters, I was delighted by sassy, sexy and smart heroine, Hannah, and the paragon of masculinity--Yes, yes!

I love how Ms. As always the secondary characters are beautifully described and bring flavor to the story. Markus's father is a very real character: Markus's ex-wife is greatly characterized, too. I hated her and the scene played in Family Court is so real I was totally engaged and sympathizing. The criminals are really good characters, especially Jacob and Luciano. Nobody writes sec scenes as Ms. This a "short" read for Ms. Serruya "only" pages but amazing, endearing, and thought-provoking as always!

Right Endearing romance with a lovely friendship and very nice love relationship. It's a fast paced story with twists and turns galore. Great premise but in such a short story it could not have been developed as I would like it to be. Anyway, it's a sweet cowboy romance with a happy ending.

I didn't connect with Jacqueline. All in all, a entertaining reading for a more than special price: This is a bargain!!
