The first book was great, but this one was even better to me. It was interesting being inside of Kyle's head for this story and I just love the banter between the characters. I laughed and teared up in this book.
I was pleased and surprised. Even thru the short time frame that the two books take place during the course of the characters' senior year of high school, the reader can watch their growth and maturity happening right on the page. It is nice to watch characters mature as the story progresses. These characters seem so real to me and I like who they are becoming.
Destined Hearts
It is almost like I am proud of them and that is something that I haven't really felt before when reading a book. Alora is a very talented writer who has a very special gift for creating a story that you can picture unfolding in your mind. Mostly we keep it and dont act on it but when expected happens I guess you no longer can control. Hands down my favorite book of ! Loved it…Drive is a close 2nd. Dumplin soundtrack was just released. You all need to read the book.

Definitely my absolute best read for ! Hard subject matter but soooo good. I just finished it, but it was really fun and made me laugh. Supposedly from other recommendations this one will make you fume, swoon and is unputdownable!!! I one-clicked the ebook. The Highwayman by Kerrigan Byrne. Dorian is a scoundrel, Farah Leigh is kryptonite. I love the writing. I love the Audible narrator. Had a reader question about a book I cannot remember. She has always liked his brother. I cannot remember which book it is!

From there, Roberta takes us to the past where they started their friendsh I came across with this book by coincidence I absolutely loved this novel! It is a sweet but dramatic love story that pulls the reader in. The story began with a dramatic scene that briefly introduced the two main characters, Valerie and Ryan, which left you hanging and kept you reading until the end.
I loved the way the story began later in their lives and then caught you up. Valerie and Ryan are such wonderful characters that make you want them to be together; they were sweet I absolutely loved this novel! Roberta did a wonderful job of letting the reader really know and understand the characters.
Their story was filled with a sweet love that is so rare. This novel was touching and pure of heart.
Roberta did an outstanding job. I look forward to reading future work by Roberta Capizzi. Lovely and very sweet, this book covers years of the friendship of Ryan and Valerie.

They met in their teens, instantly best friends thru their love of music. They grew up together, studied college in the same city Boston , while following their career ambitions. Fame and work took them apart until a tragedy made them reevaluate their life and loves. One of those books that meander and relax and make you feel good. For anyone who has longed for a long time friend to lover story, this is the one to read! I think Roberta captured her characters beautifully and kept me entertained throughout the entire story.
I wish the characters would have gotten together sooner in the story, but it was a great finish to the book. I will be looking out for more stories in the future from Roberta. This one was a 3. This isnt the type of book I normally go for.. I like my reads a little naughtier it was slow to start and I didn't really "bond" with the characters.. If you like your books sweet..

This story is so touching and beautiful. The love they share is a one of a kind and one I hope to find one day. The best kind of relationships are grown out of friendship. The way Ryan takes care of her and forces her to face her fears is beautifully written it felt like I was living it. All around great read. I requested a copy of this book from the author so that I could read and review it.
This is a sweet, romantic and dramatic story. The storyline is engrossing and the characters are interesting. I enjoyed this book from start to finish. Sweet love story grown between friends. Heartwarming, sweet, touching and an easy read - an ideal pick-up for Valentine's. This is a very soft romantic love story. It is full of love and romance, friendship, turmoil and trust. The characters are interesting and the story well developed.
It is written with such skill that it keeps your interest and warms your heart. This is a great story. I received this book as a gift and leave this review voluntarily. Ryan and Valerie have been friends for years. They are often teased by friends that they must be "more" than friends. This book spans several years and takes you on their journey from meeting to friendship to so much more.
A really sweet romantic story with no sex scenes so appreciate that. This one makes you believe in friendship and love. Can't wait to read book 2. I got the impression I was going to be introduced to an epic friendship, instead I was irritated by Valerie's insecurities, why is she so insecure in her relationship with Ryan? She spends so much time worrying that Ryan wont want to spend time with her, wont want her to be in Boston, she worries that her room-mate may like him and is annoyed by this.
If this is supposed to be a was expecting more 'in the now' story, but instead was thrown into their past and the story focuses on this too much. If this is supposed to be a platonic relationship, where she see's him as like her older brother oh how many times does she say this? Overall its well written and enjoyable and is great for escaping from the world for a bit.

I really loved the concept of this book!! As a reader, I just didn't feel the connection to Valerie.
The author did a wonderful job of getting us to know the two main characters and how their friedship grew over the years. I did enjoy Ryan's character, but thought Valerie was whiney and clingy, at times I had a hard time believing she could have been a surgeon. Overall it was a very sweet read.
