Holiness Demanded - Charles Spurgeon Sermon

This is not for the faint-hearted or those who want a fast, easy devotional reading. But there are nuggets of gold to be found in this book and it's worth the "digging" to find the treasures. I purchased the eBook, Treasury of David, for my Kindle because the hard copy books 3 Volumes were too heavy and the print too small. Kindle made it easy to read and to quickly toggle to my Bible, which is also on Kindle, as part of my study on the Book of Psalms.

It's easy to read and navigate. My favorite feature is the dictionary, which I can place my cursor on a word and the definition appears. This allows me to read without missing a beat. The actual book is an excellent read for any Christian who wants to grow.

It will deepen your faith, widen your understanding, and give you a greater love for our Lord Jesus Christ. As part of my morning devotions, I read Spurgeon's Treasury of David. I have found myself feasting on God's word throughout this book.

This was a great gift that the Lord, using Charles Spurgeon, gave to the Church. I wish more Christians would discover this blessing. Oh, the depths of the riches in Spurgeon's writings! He wrote a lot in his short life here on earth but OH how rich this commentary on the book of the Psalms is!
