I loved the hero Jillian he was witty and suave. Kind of like a Victorian James bond if you will!! Eve our heroine was just as good. Strong and fearless and not complaining about how life has treated her. I loved this book just about as much as book one,and I thought book one was really great. I loved this book just about as much as book one,and I thought book one was really great. I loved this book. It's a great stand alone read but even more fun as Ms Bernard weaves characters from the first two books of the Mistress Trilogy in and through this delightful story.

A surprising twist and mystery solved. This series is a must read for romance lovers and one I could not put down. It had two scintillating main characters, a murder subplot and a wonderful ending where the hero swept the heroine off her feet by admitting in the most romantic terms what a cad he had been. It was also full of steamy sex scenes which were truly exciting because I cared about these two people.
A Lady's Pleasure has a permanent spot on my keeper shelf. I have re-read it several times.
