This is a good starting point. If the book contained more information about record keeping of harvest to support an ongoing entrepreneurial wood products business, I would have found it even more useful. Sometimes a bit thick. This book addresses the contractural matters of the timber business very well.

I was very interested in the tax and trust portions and was very pleased with the fairly recent subject matter.
