Both stand on their own well enough to understand and appreciate what's going on, but I am thinking it will be worth my time and the small investment to go back and read the series in order! First Hunter's long-time secretary has decided to retire.

She is replaced by an interesting new character that I hope gets developed further in the future. While Hunter has plenty of lusty activities going on in both books I have read so far, there seems to be some real feelings between him and a colleague of sorts. It seems that this part of the story, as well as that of his departing secretary stretch throughout the series. The story of this installment, that of Hunter and Gina's infiltration of a ruthless Biker Gang, is riveting. The stakes are very high, keeping the tension throughout so taut that you really won't be able to put it down.

I liked the last one I've read quite a bit, but I absolutely loved this one! I think I am definitely a Hunter Burns addict! Jon Rivera outdoes himself with this crime investigation storyline. Packed full of thrill and adventure this book has a little bit for everyone. Romance, sex, drama and adventure.
