General Comment If you all look at youtube, Liam and Gem play a version on an Irish television show and its stripped down to just the guitar and Liam. It sounds tender and an Oasis song from Liams heart. Theres also an interview with Liam and hes friendly!?! Rubbishes the media hyped 'bad boy' balls.

End of story really. Ofc one can tell what it means to oneself and all but if he's said it's about Noel it is about Noel. Not about "her" or whatever. General Comment This is such a sad song. Or at least it's always sounded really sad to me.

We know it's about Noel, but regardless of Liam's intent - before I knew he'd said anything about it - I already pictured it as it being about two brothers. Knowing of his history with Noel, it just sounded really tragic to me. I'm not saying this applies to Liam and Noel it most certainly doesn't , but I've also always thought the song sounded rather incestual.

I'm not saying this is how he meant it, but it's what it sounds like to me. Like someone who's in love with his brother, but their relationship is too turbulent, and he'll never get what he wants out of it - hence "guess God thinks I'm Abel", because fate seems to want him and his brother to fight forever, and everything about his brother metaphorically kills him. Of course, Noel had to go and make a crack: He thinks he's Abel for some weird reason. That must make me Cain. Doesn't Cain kill Abel?

It's kind of illegal for two brothers to make love.

It's certainly frowned upon. He did talk about ita couple of times though: Or me and you. Two people who are the opposite, who become one. But that song is basically for him. If you love someone you respect someone, you respect someone you love someone. It all comes in the same… sandwich.

General Comment "This does sound like Liam and Noel Is that a platonic lover?

Guess God Thinks I'm Abel Lyrics: I could be your lover / You could be all mine / We go on forever / 'Til the end of time / You could be my best friend / Stay up all. I could be your lover, you could be all mine. / We'd go on for ever, 'til the end of time. / You could be my best friend, stay up all night long. / You could be my.

It's not even like the fifth or sixth best track on the album, but it's the most radio friendly. So we're basically saying we don't get to choose our own singles anymore; it's something I will be addressing before I sign a new record deal. The short-fused Gallagher let loose when asked about the recently shot "Lyla" video, as well.

This is not the reason why I started a band, to stand on a video stage all day and mime a song times, knowing that when you get to the end of the th, you're thinking, 'I don't even fing like this song anymore, it's stupid. There's only ever been one criterion, and that's to make us look 10 years younger. You get that right and I'm fine.

Perhaps the fact that the band recorded some of the songs for Don't Believe the Truth in California created a slightly sunnier experience for the group? It's kinda like that with us. On the other hand, the two months spent in the U. All four members wrote for the album. After some contemplation, he added, "I'm thinking, 'Well, that's very religious and biblical and it's a bit deep.

He has a religious fixation with [Abel] and Jesus, I think.
