This first issue offers some interesting articles as a first attempt but promises more articles and information about American Motors vehicles as time goes on and readership grows. Given that time will diminish the number of AMC related articles in other auto enthusiast magazines, and the supply of information concerning American Motors cars and parts will also slowly begin to disappear, Truesdell's magazine could be an invaluable source of all things AMC in the future.

    I LOVE this book Honestly I don't read any type of book other than technical or books like this one. I am a Chevy person, but have always liked and owned many AMC vehicles. I liked the authors style of informative, but not too long writing.

    AMC I miss you everyday. Nothing will ever exist again like these great cars. A great magazine for all AMC lovers like me. Brought back a lot of childhood memories.

    Beautiful presentation and layout. A nice mix of original stories about AMC owners and their cars, dealerships, and vintage ads. Saddened to see it never recieved sufficient numbers of subscribers to make more than a single edition. To bad it did not. To bad it did not survive.

Examples include the Ambassador 4-door hardtop station wagon, of which only were produced, and the Jeep Scrambler CJ8, a combined pickup truck-Jeep, of which only a few thousand were produced. Long out of print we have a few in good used condition. These badge-engineered Ramblers, along with similar Metropolitans, were identical save for hubcaps, nameplates, and other minor trim details.
