About this time, Alice enters the living room pushing a carpet sweeper and pondering a jingle for the Everpress Fabric Company. Geez Mike, the woman works in your home from sunup to sundown and serves as a third parent and friend to your children.

Are you really going to fault her for enjoying some contests which likely cost nothing more than the cost of a stamp? Mike does give chase this time. For the fabrics that are best, put your faith in Everpress. You will always look well dressed, in the east and in the vest. It might not win a contest, but it was funny.

Upstairs, Cindy asks Bobby if she may borrow his skate key. Bobby says he is not lending anything to a snitcher! Mike is walking past the room and hears their conversation. Cindy is threatening to blackmail Bobby! Mike enters and tries to put a stop to it, but Cindy blabs anyway. First off, why was he coloring his skateboard? Second, why use lipstick? Mike smacks Bobby in the head with the tuxedo vest for his infraction.

Denton made her go wash it off. Cindy will get no details on this bit of high school gossip.

The Paula Tardy and Mrs. Denton was the teacher Marcia was accused of doodling an unflattering picture of. Greg and Bobby will go to the park instead and continue their conversation. In the next scene, Mike and Carol enjoy some coffee and it is mentioned that Cindy is five days tattle-free. Upon Alice entering, Mike inquires about the jingle contest she entered.

Alice shares the jingle she did not submit to the contest. Everpress is just right for you, if you are no matter who. Try our fabrics real soon, in flannel, silk or gaberdoon.

MORE BY LYNN DOWNEY

This is quite an encompassing statement that could really confuse a small child. It confuses the lines of tattle-telling and bullying. The illustrations are poor; the pigs are ugly. He must have been very excited at the purchase as it is all ready out of the plastic when he reveals the purchase. The baby brother tattles about everything and thus gets his way.

Mike clarifies it is a poon. The story continues in the kitchen. It is the postman with a registered letter for Alice. Cindy answers it and it is Sam. Back at the front door, Alice has just learned that she is a winner in the jingle contest! So elated with this news is she that she hugs the postman. In a bit of terrible timing, Cindy is observing this and giving Sam the play-by-play. Sam is not happy that his lady is embracing another man.

He has Cindy promise not to tell Alice he called. Cindy has done it again, but this time her tattling could result in dire consequences. She was trying to be helpful by answering the phone and letting Sam know what was keeping Alice. The director got creative for the next scene.

It is shot from a perspective never before seen. Mike is practicing his golf putt in the living room while Carol watches.

Episode 10: The Tattle-Tale

Alice enters all dolled up for her date with Sam. It is one of the few times we see her outside her blue work uniform. Red is a good color for her. She is all dressed up and soon finds she has no place to go. Sam has yet to arrive to pick her up, so she gives him a call. She is surprised to find him still at home and answering the phone. When asked about their date for the dance, Sam tells Alice to let the postman take her and hangs up.

In a bit of very convenient timing, Cindy comes downstairs to ask about a good night kiss. Alice and Carol go to call Sam and try to work things out. Mike and Cindy have a father-daughter talk. He understands that it is difficult for a little child to know what to say and what not to say. This is quite an encompassing statement that could really confuse a small child. She seeks clarification, but Mike gives none.

Cindy promises she will never tattle again.

Jan only knows six. Cindy enters looking down and Jan inquires as to what is the matter. Jan tries to goad Cindy into sharing what occurred downstairs, but she is remaining tight lipped.

See a Problem?

It was pretty shallow of Jan to try to get Cindy to tattle. The next scene begins with Cindy playing jacks by the front door. The Brady kids sure picked some strange locations to play games. The postman returns with another registered letter. Being a responsible child, Cindy looks through the peephole to confirm it is in fact the postman.

TATTLETAIL RAP [SFM] by JT Music feat. DAGames, Andrea Storm Kaden

The director used another clever shot as we see the postman through the perspective of the peephole. Can small children do this for a registered letter?

The postman was played by John Wheeler. Plenty of work would follow in both television and feature films. The only recurring roles noted for John Wheeler was that of Mr. No date of death is listed for him. Cindy places the letter in a spot very convenient for Tiger to snatch it. Of course he does and takes off with it. Alice and Carol arrive home from the grocery store as Cindy chases Tiger out into the yard. Upon entering the house, Mike arrives home too and Alice gets a call. It is regarding the prize notification that was just delivered. Alice knows nothing of the notice and has only until midnight that night to claim her prize!

What kind of operation is this? They deliver the notice that the prize must be picked up within only a few hours? Perhaps some kind soul working the contest realized this really unfair prize distribution and called the people to give them a heads up.
