I got this supplement for my law school class covering UCC Articles I was mostly satisfied with this supplement.

It did cover all the necessary topics. However, when it came to topics that I had difficulty with, I found this book somewhat lacking in detail. While it describes the topic and the UCC provisions on the given topic, it would have been helpful if it gave more examples, at the very least. I would recommend this book as a good overview of the topics covered in UCC Articles 3 and 4, but the level of detail left something to be desired.

I would not recommend this as your sole course supplement, especially if this is an area of law you find challenging like I did.

I bought this for my law school class. Despite the other reviewer's advice. The outline is fine. It's the standard Emanuel Outline, very thorough, but well organized so its readable. As far as the cases go, each professor teaches different ones--some are in, some aren't. Includes practice essay questions, with answers, and multiple choice reviews and tests. We used Whaley's textbook in class and I used this outline as study aid.

The outline is good and it addresses the problems posed in the textbook. Get Gilbert's as well An excellent summary, with key points, practice questions, and exam tips worth reading. The explanatory style, with an example following each point, made the material easy to remember. Finals were much easier after reading this outline.

Okay, so I am a 2L and have used the Emanuel series of outlines [with success] since my first year. As you probably know, the most important aspect of an outline is that it matches up with your textbook. Well, in this case, Emanuel messes up big time with its 'Casebook Correlation Chart'.
