I recommend this book to everyone who is new to Scrum Roman explains all the basics necessary to get started working in a Scrum team. He explains the roles, the artifacts, and the events. In addition he tells a little bit about the evolution of the product backlog, the role of long-term planning using release management, scaling, and establishing Scrum in organizations. After reading this book I felt myself well prepared for my first Scrum project working as a team member.

Parts of the program will be conducted in collaboration with lecturers from the University of Kassel, Germany. Most of the training will be done in form of group work.
