The truth is, we are all growing older by the day. Since my retirement in I have been able to enjoy one of my favorite activities, playing bluegrass and gospel music. My son, Gary who is visually impaired, is home bound but since his high school days has become an excellent mandolin and guitar Getting Healthy is not Rocket Science.

Carrying around extra pounds can lead to diabetes and high blood pressure.

With simple a little discipline such as wtching our diet and exercise, both can be brought under control. Guns and a Heritage Guaranteed by our Constitution.

I grew up around guns. As Americans we are guaranteed the right to own guns. Gun control as it stands now would not have prevented the recent acts where innocent children were killed. Having grown up in a cotton mill village during the 's, the cotton mill where my dad worked had an industrial league baseball team. The community barn was on the property adjacent to the community baseball park and sometimes cows ventured onto the field or was stake by chain to eat the grass that contained an abundance of red clover. The banjo gained popularity as a lead instrument during the mid 's and has grown in popularity.

Even in small towns across the country added security measures have now been put into place. An ounce of prevention and sometimes inconvenient, it just shows how we now constantly live in fear of the unknown. Hog Killing and Nothing Wasted.
