Fought it and won. I read this book in one day, just because it was so awesome that I couldn't put it down. I have become a huge fan of this series. The author can really write some amazing books!!! I would have liked to get more details on Xandra and her powers along with some details on why she could travel to the Shadowland when she isn't an Angel of Death. Witch Fairy Series

I'm wondering how long Kallen and Xandra will be left-handfasted Jan 14, Emerson C. Witch, Fairy, Angel and Cowan. Her story, told in first person from her point of view.

Frankly, I was bewitched. She and her boy friend are left hand fasted. If they have sex, then presto they are married. A bit young for that, she is still not an adult. But from , this series is just awesome. Xandra is coming of age and learns a whole new world and about herself. She deals with many challenges and comes off as any teenager - a bit confused, a bit arrogant, chastened by elders and at times rebellious. Kallen is the character that shines in this series. He is powerful but his power is easily overshadowed by the more powerful Xand This review is for books till Book 8.

He is powerful but his power is easily overshadowed by the more powerful Xandra. Yet he never lets that affect his ego or his relationship with Xandra. He manages to come off as the more mature, in-charge person. The intimate scenes between the duo are at the same time passionate and tender. There is a lot of "wow-gorgeous" falling-for-looks-mainly thing happening but the way the characters are depicted takes away the sting of it.

I was so confident that it was Aunt Barb. Oh well I guess I missed the clues too just like Xander. And I literally felt like the angel who pointed them out was berating me no kidding I loved all the characters. And I especially love those li'l visits from the angels. Like previous in the series it is witty , sarcastic with a lot of humour. The Witches want her dead and the Fairies want her blood, for only her blood will reopen the gateway to the Fae realm and allow them back into this realm to take revenge on humans and Witches alike for having banished them hundreds of years ago.

Xandra has very little time to learn how to use her powerful Witch and Fairy magic that has been bound since her birth while running from the Fairies who managed to jump realms and want to take her blood to set the others free. She needs someone to teach her and her parents enlist the help of one powerful Fairy who claims to want to keep the realms closed to each other.

He will help keep her safe and alive as she learns, at least that's what he says The Fairy mercenaries may be back in their own realm, but the Witches still want Xandra dead. Fearing an ancient prophecy, the Witches are determined to keep Xandra from destroying the world. Still new to her magical powers, she must learn to use her Witch magic in order to protect herself and those she loves.
