I am hoping you enjoy this primary of many exploits of Jake Natural stone and Snowflake. I'm away and off to read through my next episode. Peters; Keep up the great work. The main character is the most stupid I have ever run across, but this book is great. I don't know what these other are reviewing, but it is not the same book I read.
The action is ongoing, never stops. I enjoyed the book enormously. It was a short story only took about 2 hours, but I stayed with it. Some books go on for nearly a whole chapter describing the characters, this one got to it right away. Until I got to the end, and saw a picture of the author, I would have sworn the book was written by a woman.
All the men is this book are big,and stupid. But a thriller is a thriller. I liked it, regardless what some of the other reviewer said, and I intend to get the next one in the series. This guy has to smarten up sooner or later, but then who knows. This book was so absurd it was hilarious. I didn't notice the typos others mentioned perhaps they've been cleaned up, but the language is impossible. It's like the author had a thesaurus and was determined to use every word in it. This guy obviously never read Elmore Leonard's rules of writing eg.
He never settles for just one adjective when he can provide several. Be forewarn, the Jake Stone character loves to be "woman-handled" and beaten into shape by petite, muscular ladies who are driven by personal greed and power lust in a battle to secure the loyalty of the hapless lawyer, Jake, who offers the competing women a quick road to the Top Chair of a business empire.
Silly and some uncomfortable parts will make you squirm.
Another great book by A Jake Stone! Title speaks for itself. A thriller it is! This is a terrible story.
It is full of violence and sex. The characters are all insane, think nothing of lying and murder, and are motivated by sexual lust and greed. God is seldom mentioned only in refernce to potential fornication and Jesus not at all. The author has a thinly disguised lust for athletic women which is smarmy.
I was disgusted and deleted the book, but I still feel dirty. The characters are ridiculous. The plot is absolutely stupid. As I said, if the author is under the age of 18, there is still hope for him. Sorry for the bad, but honest review. Very poorly written and repetitive. The whole plot was unbelievable.
