Curve Contract

This is the background of a homework question which does not ask but I got this question when I try to draw the Edgeworth Box. Then I got confused that if we start from an endowment point for example, at the bottom right corner and trade to the contract curve to get an equilibrium, then the line we trade along is called the priceline right?

See a Problem?

In microeconomics, the contract curve is the set of points representing final allocations of two goods between two people that could occur as a result of mutually. General vs. Partial Equilibrium. The Edgeworth Box. The Contract Curve. The Core. General Equilibrium (without Production) or. Exchange. (Chapter 31).

If I did all these correct, I find my priceline is not orthogonal to the contract curve. It is more likely I made something conceptually wrong?

I really liked this romance, it's a quick read but a rewarding one. Pippa Jones is in deep trouble her accountant has run off with her money, now her livelihood is threatened. Then one her clients Blake Cross a millionaire steps in to help, he has a proposition. He needs a wife temporarily, but he refuses to tell Pippa why till after they're married. If she agrees he will help her financially. This is a good read, it's obvious to the reader what's going on, only the heroine Pippa doesn't get it. Being a fuller figured girl all her life she's never had anyone treat her right.

Blake is always photographed by the press and Pippa fears if she agrees to the deal he's offering she'll be lambasted in the papers.

But Blake is determined to get his way. Great chemistry and sensuous sex scenes, as well as likeable characters I will definitely be reading more from this author.

Nov 12, Jessi Bond rated it it was amazing. This story totally sucked me in! I loved how it started right in the middle of the plot unfolding rather than giving a whole lot of backstory and slow buildup, but I still felt like I knew exactly what was going on.

Pippa manages to be sympathetic and identifiable even after we've figured things out LONG ago that she still can't bring herself to see It doesn't get any better than that! Oct 18, Jamie Lynn rated it liked it Shelves: Yay for chubby insecure heroines!! I loved how she was oblivious. This was a fun quick read. It's contrived and implausible, but the perfect quick escape for chubby spinsters like me! This was one of those unexpected but unbelievably outstanding gems you find when you least expect it.

I loved the characters and the angle Wick took with the story. Puppy was a bit obtuse in "getting it" but it was totally sweet once she did. Blake is totally my new book boyfriend! Aug 09, Kimberlee rated it really liked it. This was a lovely little short story. But either way it was fun and sexy to read. Jan 13, Annette rated it really liked it Shelves: I really liked this short but sweet erotic romance. May 05, Giovanni rated it really liked it Shelves: A novella about curvy woman and a hot guy.

Enjoyed it a lot. Simple, hot, yet entertaining. Feb 04, StellaR rated it really liked it Shelves: A quick, sweet read: I always try to look for books more with BBW. I am so glad I found this one. Pippa has horrible parents. Man, what her mother says to her. No child or even adult woman deserves that.

And then being used in the past, UGH! But with now her company in a spiral she didn't see a silver lining. Thank goodness for Blake. For one Blake is a billionaire that she has been his PR person for a year. But she also doesn't know that Blake is in love with her. Pippa secretly loves him too. What they I love it. What they go through is crazy but I am glad for the HEA. Nov 16, M rated it liked it. Loved it but found it too short.

Didn't like the end. Too quick and easy like she was looking to finishing it and getting it over with. Fun short read I liked that this was a story about a plus sized woman being sought after by the hot, wealthy billionaire. I wanted to give her a hug when I read about her mom.

Pippa is a BBW who owns her own PR business, which is in trouble since her accountant absconded with funds. Blake is a wealthy client of Pippa's who makes her an offer she can't refuse -- he'll help find the guy and pay for lawyers to help fight the IRS, but she needs to marry him.

He can't exactly tell her why, but it involves a lawsuit of sorts. There are some pretty steamy scenes in this which is why it's at 3 stars instead of two. I couldn't give this more stars because th Standalone novella.

I couldn't give this more stars because there are so many unresolved stories that are introduced because they're supposed to help move the plot along, but failed. And, I hated that this was simply convoluted so that he'd end up with Pippa despite the fact she marries him under essentially false pretenses. Pippa's got major body issues, which stems from years of psychological abuse by her mother, which makes her unbelieving of any complements regarding her beauty.

The author tries to resolve this issue with her mother, but it wasn't very convincing. If Blake's really been attracted to her all this time and "she has walls up" why would he go through this charade? And conveniently he decides to settle the lawsuit -- and we still don't know why he was being sued. Jan 21, Ella rated it really liked it Shelves: Like I've said before, the book blurbs are all very enticing and alluring, but when I read the books, her books normally leave me disappointed.

But Not This One! This one actually had a story, not a complex one, but a story nonetheless.

It wasn't all just sex, and I loved it. It was sweet, and sexy and I really liked it. A short read, but a good one. I'm soo glad I didn't stop at the last book. I couldn't give it a 5, because I like a little more depth to the story, some confrontation with the heroine's terrible mother, revelation of the details of burke's suit, etc etc. I'm still just glad that I finally found a Christa Wick novel which has more story than sex, so yea, 4 stars it is!

It was a cute story, but I think it could have been longer, or got rid of some of her constant self-loathing in lieu of further development of the character relationships. It wrapped up quickly while leaving loose ends.

And of course, some of her terminology was a bit awkward- amusing, but awkward. I don't think they use the word 'cream' on a dairy farm as much as she does in this book. It was good for what it was: Mar 14, Jessica Gomez rated it liked it. I liked the premise. Plus sized woman with an uber hot rich business owner. What's not to like? As it turned out quite a few. First she over analyzed things quite a lot. She seemed indecisive and at times spineless. Granted after all she has been through anyone would have those scars. And carry a lot of pain.

And Blake his point of view was never told. Yes sometimes well most of the times actions speak louder than words like the way by the subtle way he pursued her. Seduced her I liked the premise.

I loved the way he left her wanting more. The writing was understood clearly. The sex was hot. Jun 21, Nu rated it really liked it Shelves: She was so adorable, sexy and such a sweet person. A welcome relief from the snide type of girls I've been reading about recently. Pippa is sassy, sexy, feisty, humble, kind and amazing.

She didn't need to be mean or bitchy and I completely loved that. We also have the amazing alpha, Blake.
