Reading about their beginning is interesting. I am giving this book 4 stars.
If a reader has an aversion to reincarnation, this book is not for you. Mar 12, Lynn Quinlan rated it really liked it. When Jayce and Zahra meet for the first time they feel an attraction and familiarity that they don't understand. As their relationship progresses it becomes clear that they have met in a previous life and that Zahra has killed Jayce in that life.
This leads to misunderstandings and the breakup of their relationship. The problems are not solved by the end of the book, but continued into the next book of the series. I did however notice similarities between this and the jt series. The story of zahara and Jayce was compelling I liked the way they were connected by their past lives.

Secret Souls I really enjoyed this novel I was intrigue into the story right a way with Jemma ,Sarah all the character about Raven and the past to the present and the love between them in the present and the steamy scenes ,made me laugh and mad screaming at the pages must read!!! The lead female and male characters are continually criticality injured. The storylines are interesting with plenty of twists. The dialogue is informative and snarky. I never took you for a flowers-and-candy kind of girl. The crime is dying without being with someone who cares. I found them interesting and depressing which is why I will not re-read them. Remember this is my personal opinion and does not reflect on the author. I am always interested in works by this author.

I really enjoyed reading these four books. It has been a long time since a book or books have made me breathless and held my interest like this, even though the last three books didn't seem to have the same plot tidiness as the first one. The latter three books seems more character-driven than the first book. It was like watching people you know, good friends and family, grow and mature before your eyes.
I also noticed the extra words in spots, which I think was a byproduct of editing and can be easily corrected.
If Julie is based on a real person who went through all this, I must give full marks if she still has her sanity. Zack in some ways is almost too good to be true, but then, we always feel that way about the men we love. Amber is a bratty teen with health problems, and if she is a real person, I hope she has found glucophage instead of insulin shots! I gave these books a 5 because there was nothing higher!
The characters, the stories, all third came together in a way I haven't seen in a long, long time. I was there, through every wounds, every emotional moment. I lived these books in a way every author dreams people will. I laughed, I bawled my eyes out, I got angry. I stayed up way too late for the 3 days it took me to read them through.
I'll be recommending these to every person I know.
I have to say this book reads like a daytime soap opera. Way too much drama, and it just keeps coming. However, I did enjoy the characters and the story. There are a few typos with extra words in sentences. I really don't like characters who are magically rich, and like soaps, some of the scenarios are ridiculous.
I think there are some anachronisms, but overall the plot stays in the proper time frame. The story was enjoyable but needs a good editor. Grabbed this 4 book series free off Amazon thinking what the heck I've got nothing to lose if I hate it.. Good character introduction as well as development. Great story lines and especially liked how the author kept you going almost until the end. The next book picked up where the prior left off but added a new story line. Maybe could have handled less injuries, shootings but it carried the story very well.
I was honestly sad when I finished book 4, wanted to keep going but probably a really good thing since I've lost quite a bit of sleep over the last week or so not wanting to put this series down.

It recaps just enough so if you have not read them continuously you will remember what is taking place And continue on. I chose this rating because I thoroughly enjoyed this book. After I read the first one, I couldn't wait to get started on the second one,and the next two. I had a hard time putting it down. I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a good mystery. Had it all, what a page turner. Had a hard time putting any one of the four books down well worth a couple of late late nights. See all 30 reviews.
