I would love to see this as a series. He leaves plenty to build upon and as I finished the last chapter I wondered about Drago's childhood, family and homeland. I can't help but hope Wales comes out with a prequel. Wales way of storytelling keeps you turning pages, hungry for more. The only think I disliked was when I finished it. I want more and you will too.

Mr Wales writes a story that will leave readers with the sting of burning vampire flesh and black powder in their nostrils for days. A style as raw as skin ripped by werewolf claws, and as hot as a 2-day sunburn. Franklin Wales no relation demonstrates that revenge is a dish best served to gluttonous excess.

A dish allowed to grow cold, then re-heated to hotter than a rancher's branding iron. Plus, a really cool horse!

What's not to love??? I received a review copy of this book from the author, Franklin Wales I had read no reviews and knew nothing of the story line, so I had no idea what the book was about. Wales does a great job building the mystery and suspense; and so, for the first chapter, I was really intrigued, wondering where the book was headed. It kept me turning the pages, anxious to read more but not wanting it to end.
