As a goodwill gesture and for reasonable price her brother took us there with his car. It was very nice to spent a night at Katya's house. She is a great host, who really take a great care for her guests. Spacious and comfortable rooms. You have all you need. It is convenient to have car to go to main atractions. The apartment is like a mini-building. It has two floors: Lots of stairs so be careful not to take many luggage.
Very clean and tidy, you could see the sea from the terrace. Brilliant apartment with a great terrace and beautiful ocean views. Perfect location very close to lots of restaurants and the beach, and easy to get to scopello and San vito de capo. Good kitchen equipment and lovely hosts with plenty of tips for the area. Would definitely stay again! It was a great experience staying at Salvatores! Not only is his apartment and the terrace amazing but Salvlatore and his family went a long way to help me and my friends with showing us around in the beautiful town and arranging transfer on our day of departure.
Best kind of hosts! A large roof terrace with a great gulf view perfectly complements the little apartment. We enjoyed some great days in Castellamare del Golfo. Very nice welcome from Catia and her family. The apartment is located centrally in the beautiful town of castellamare with a great view of the ocean. The family that is renting out this marvels apartment is extremely kind and helpful. Oer stay was one of the best I ever had whit airbnb! Salvatore is a great host! He took care of us from the begining. Arranged transfers and show us the city briefly. The apartment is on the top floor and you have a big terrace with a fantastic view. Inside the apartment there is everything you might need. The beach is nearby and also shops, restaurants are close. Highly recommend this host and place to stay in Castellammare!
We had a fantastic stay at the apartment! The location overall is great for exploring Castellammare Del Golfo easy walk to restaurants, the port, and the beach. The space itself was private, felt very safe, and was clean. A good apartment with a large terasse and a perfect view over the bay. Salvatore helped with arrival and depature to airport. Close to the sea. Very beautyfull place in fantastic area. Our stay there was amazing. Lociation is very good.
The host is very helpfull and nice. We stayed at Massimo's place for 3 weeks this summer and experienced the most lovely hospitality. Not only was the accommodation exactly as described but Massimo ensured that we were looked after and gave great communication throughout our stay. So many complimentary supplies of breakfast items, biscuits, milk and juices on arrival - over and above expectation.
Massimo often left us bowls of fresh home grown fruit and vegetables from his own garden throughout our stay. The accommodation is delightful with everything you could possibly need. The house is perfect in location as once you've parked outside the house you can walk everywhere in castellamarre del golfo! Thanks Massimo, we hope to stay here again in the future!! Very pleasant and perfect for access for both scopello and castalmarre town. Massimo is as pleasant and helpful as everyone says! This was our first trip to Sicily and it was great! Thanks for this Valeria. Apartments are large and bright. In the morning you can see the sun rises. This apartment has 3 balconies. This is 3 floor and you see the mountains, the sea. In the apartment you will be able to find everything you need for a comfortable stay. If you cook a lot like me then you will know that it is important to fully equipped kitchen.
This apartment is very well located. Everything you need close by. Free parking is possible because it is very important for Sicily. Valeria is very friendly and caring hostess. She gave us lots of great tips on how to spend your time on the island and also was kind enough to take us with her to Palermo. I hope that we will be back in Castellammare del Golfo, and offers apartments at Valeria. Valeria was very kind at the arriving. She was waiting for us in the flat. The apartment is spacious with 3 balconies, air condition, good for 6 persons.
The beach is beautiful, the wonderful city center is 5 minutes walk. The photos show exactly the atmosphere with seaview. Valeria era molto gentie all'arrivo. Lei aspettavaci quando siamo arrivati. L'appartemento est molto grande con 3 balconi, climatizzazione, abbastanze grande per 6 persone. La spiaggia e bella, il centro magnifico e a 5 minuti a piedi.
I foto mostrano bene l'atmosfera con vista sul mare. Fantastic and comfortable apartment with all the facilities. Valeria and her brother super nice and very helpful. This is a great spot. Close enough to town for walking even with tired little legs but far away from everything to feel like you're part of the real town.
Bonus of this place is the fact that the balconies are a great spot for a glass of wine and a book in the afternoons in summer after a day at the beach, as they're spacious and don't get direct sun. Valeria was a fantastic, friendly host and recommended lots to see and do. Valeria was very friendly and gave us good advices delicious pizzeria and beautiful beaches that weren't in our guide. The flat is spacious and calm, although a little bit difficult to find without a GPS.
Nice place, rooms are big, good location, easy to park, walking distance to the town center. Valerie is a nice person, gave us lots of information about the places around. Excellent accommodation, all such as in the description. I put the highest mark and sincerely recommend to anyone. Valeria has nice, clean, spacious apartment with terrace. It's close to the bus station-about 3 minutes, and also near historical city centre-about 15 minutes.
We stayed only for two nights but we wish we could stay longer, because Castellammatre del Golfo is beautiful place. The villa is stylish and quirky and has everything you will need. The welcoming pack of wine, meats, cheese, bread etc was a lovely touch and hugely appreciated. Nelly and Giacomo were there to greet us and were helpful and obliging during our whole stay.
Communication for everything was fast and effective. I have no criticisms about anything! The villa is high up a hill accessed by a very narrow and winding road, the best piece of advice I can give is to hire a very small car, the smallest you can manage! We initially had a Ford Galaxy and then rented a second car, a Fiat Panda to enable us to visit towns like Castellammare Del Golfo and Palermo as the streets are really too narrow for a larger car. We loved this place so much, I am certain we will be back. We had an amazing time at Fabrizio's home. The house had an artistic charm, was very clean, spacious, with lots of small details and finished touches.
We ware welcomed with a full plate of fruits, bottle of champagne in cold ice, fresh bread and a full range of amenities, perfectly starting our marriage anniversary celebration. This place is heaven. Nice touch with a clean and fresh towels part way through the stay too. One of the rare occurrences where it looks better in person. There is no way you will not just fall in love. In addition to the spectacular nature of the house, Nelly was there to greet us and made the check-in wildly easy. In all, an exceptional experience. We had a great time at Vitos house. Vito is very friendly and was always reachable for us. The house is as shown an the pictures. Its next to the Center of castellammare del golfo, you can walk there by foot in two minutes. Vito's place is fantastic. It is humble, nice and with a prefect location and view on the harbor.
Baking cakes, drinks in the garden and fishing at the docks. We lived here for one month in March. This place feels close to home.
Vito is a good fellow. We really enjoyed our stay at Vito's house. There was everything we needed and the location is just perfect - away from the crowds but close to everything. The facility allows for self catering, which is extremely useful. Private parking lot and the view were a plus. Highly recommend for a longer stay as there is a lot to enjoy and see around. Vito was a very nice host and his house is perfectly situated. Very nice view on the port.
We recommend that place! We really enjoyed Vito's apartment. It's a great place, wonderfully located and Vito is an amazing host and splendid cook! Great location, lots of space, and warm even in January when the central heating got going. All in all highly recommended! Fabolous stay, delicous breakfest! Hope we will come back: We had a truly delightful stay with Patrizia and her mama. The house is perfectly located for a getaway from it all stay. Quiet and relaxing and yet a very short journey to some of the magnificent sights of Sicily. The bedroom we had was cosy and the bed linen is of a very good quality. The amazing breakfasts served even made my husband get out of bed and this is most unusual for him! This is a high quality option for a stay in Sicily.
Patrizia's guesthouse is wonderful. Situated just a few minutes drive from Scopello it is a welcome oasis to return to after exploring the nearby beaches and towns. Patricia is warm and welcoming, her home is scrupulously clean and her cooking is delicious! I would highly recommend taking a cooking lesson with Patrizia and her mum - we collected tomatoes straight from the garden and made Sicilian macaroni style pasta and eggplant parmigiana - a flawlessly good experience! We stayed 2 nights in the lovely guesthouse of Patrizia and her mother.
If we could have stayed longer, we would have stayed. The atmosphere is amazing, the garden is beautiful and Patrizia and her mother are lovely warm people. We joined them for dinner during one evening: Good food, nice people and stunning surroundings. We would absolutely recommend to go there and if we ever return to Sicily this will be one of our destinations for sure! Patrizia and her mum Dina were really friendly and helpful.
Patrizia would go to any length to help especially to find tourist spots and good restaurants when we were not eating with her and other guests. Patrizia's authentic Scilian cooking was superb and we will retain very fond memories of our stay at Uliveto Guesthouse. We had a lovely stay at Uliveto house!
The house has a wonderful location, near the sea and near the beautiful town of Scopello. Our hosts made us feel very welcome. We enjoyed the fruit from the garden, the delightful breakfast and the talks with the hosts. We can recommend this place to anyone! Our stay with Patrizia was wonderful! We chose to stay here for our first wedding anniversary and to our surprise, she made us a cake to celebrate. This was a trip and anniversary that was so memorable and one we will never forget. The breakfast was delicious and we highly recommend doing dinner with Patrizia and her mom.

Francesco was so nice, he saved our trip! We forgot our ID cards and he brought them fast to the airport to permit us to take our flight. What more can I say ;. Francesco and his family are very kind people and we had the best of time! The place is very cosy, well kept and clean. We loved our mornings and evenings on the little porch in front of the house where we could enjoy the splendid view of the mountain.
Everything was just as described, the kitchen was very well equipped and air conditioning worked perfectly. The area is nice and calm, but if you wish to spend the night among crowds or to have a nice dinner- Castelammare is only 10min away. Car or scooter is necessary to get around though.

Gli appartamenti sono nuovissimi, ben arredati e forniti di tutto il necessario.

They met us on the way and guided us to the apartement and a mini tour around the city. They brought us great local food and Guiseppes homemade white wine. The apartment was of a high standard, just as in the pictures. Right in the middle of Castellammare del Golfo. We would like to come back. My partner and I had the most wonderful stay and we were warmly welcomed by Giuseppe. After traveling for two months around Italy this was by far the best Air bnb experience of our trip.
Giuseppe was a wonderful host, upon arrival he took me around he neighborhood to show me the best places to eat, take a coffee and park my car for which he provided a city pass. The apartment is absolutely beautiful. It has just been renovated entirely, it is impeccable and very stylish. The apartment is centrally located and it is easy to get around. Very nice place, central location, Giuseppe and his wife picked us up, gave us a little tour up through the city and invited us for a granita!
Nice newly renovated apartment just a street off the main drag in the nice old part of town. Very clean, comfortable and stylish interior yet right within the classic town of Castellamere de Gulfo. There is a nice little spot out the front to sit and relax. The photos are very accurate maybe slightly more spacious in real life We were treated to a mini tour of the town upon arrival, a bottle of wine and some fresh fruit.
We unfortunately had to leave a day early but wished we could have stayed he whole week. Se dovessi tornare tornerei qui, consigliatissimo. Brand new, well furnished and very cute: The flat is not in the city center so it's perfectly convenient if you have a car that you can park around. But if you are walking, it can be a bit long. Last but not least, Valeria has been very reactive to answer our messages.
I would def recommend this place. My girlfriend and I chose this apartment for our holiday. It is situated in a remote place and it takes about 15 minutes walking to reach the city centre, which is really nice to walk around in the evening. There you can also find a local small beach near the embankment. As for the apartment, it absolutely looks like on photos and is quite tidy, light and cosy inside. We had some problems with our arrival and we have to wander around for about min with our suitcases as we got not exact location of the apartment and there was some problems with giving us the exact instructions for finding the place.
Finally we were welcomed by Valeria's husband and a girl who helped him with English translation thanks to her! So, before your arrival make sure you know the exact address of this place and all the details. In general, everything was great. We are very happy with the stay in the apartment of Valeria. Everything was clean, nice, comfortable. The location of the house is also very good!

I recommend new guests! The apartment was walking distance to everything I needed. Valeria was an outstanding host and always made herself available. The apartment description and photos are quite accurate. It is a nice and clean two rooms apartment on a second floor. There are two supermarkets, nice pasticceria and nice panetteria, all in 5 minutes from the apartment. There is also a good caffetteria just behind the building, which opens very earliy.
The city center is in minutes of walking. The beach is in minutes of walking. The times should be corrected by the fact that we were travelling with a 2 yo child in a pram. Valeria was very nice, helpful and promptly addressed our requests. She organized us a pickup at the Palermo airport and gave a free ride to the Train station when we were leaving.
Some people complain about the noise. Well, I think that it is impossible to find better place anyway - roads are everywhere. The noise was not significant though, our son had no problems sleeping in the morning and in the afternoon. Valeria was very hospital and helpful. Beautiful nature around will make your days really relaxed and will stay in the memory for a long time. It takes 5 min to the next beach by car. I would advise this place to all who wants to have a relaxed holiday. Thanks to the hostess for this opportunity to spend such a wonderful time like we had.
Finally wanted to appeal to the all tourists to support the homeless cats and dogs which are unfortunatelly a lot there. Have a good holiday in Castellammare del Golfo on Sicily. Villetta spettacolare, tanto spazio all'aperto e una vista magnifica. Preziosissimi poi i consigli ricevuti sulla zona.
La casa si presenta come dalle foto e in descrizione. Bella casettina con giardino enorme. Adatta a famiglie con bimbi letto a castello in cameretta e a coppie. Lo spazio esterno permette di godere della natura circostante. Le spiaggiette sono molto belle, ma un po' difficili da raggiungere. Scopello e la riserva dello zingaro si raggiungono in pochi chilometri. Esperienza positiva, consigliato anche per la. Salvatores Familie war super nett und alles war sehr unkompliziert. Man sollte auf jeden Fall mit dem Auto anreisen - Supermarkt etc. Description conforme, photos conformes. Bellissima villetta che gode di una vista veramente spettacolare su gran parte del Golfo di Castellammare.
Nonostante la casa sia immersa nel silenzio e nella natura, si trova in un punto strategico: L'host, Salvatore, e quando lui era impegnato per lavoro sua madre, sono stati molto accoglienti e disponibili per ogni esigenza. I like this apartment! It located in small and cute town near two different beaches sand on the east and pebble on the west. On the waterfront of this city you can buy fresh fish every morning. Near the apartment are two big supermarkets, bakery, restaurants, cafes, barber shops, diving center, fish store, postal office, free parking and gas station.
Saria and her husband was very hospitality and kind person. I definitely recommend this accommodation! Casa pulita e ben posizionata, a soli 10 minuti a piedi dal centro e dal porto. Ci siamo trovati benissimo. Soggiorno di 7 notti molto gradevole. Camera molto ampia e bagno nuovissimo. Pierluca e Valeria sono Gentilissimi e disponibili. Il valore aggiunto sono Valeria e Pierluca una coppia fantastica pronta ad aiutare e a consigliare. Valeria ci ha anche viziati con uno splendido dolce!
Appartamento al penultimo piano di una palazzina a due passi dal centro, ristrutturato completamente in maniera molto curata e originale. Camere spaziose con balcone vista porto-mare, bagno funzionale e comodo. I recommend with all my heart! Although there are no pictures of it, the balcony is very cute and we even had dinner once while watching other people walking through the narrow streets. Our stay at Rosas place was awesome! It was perfect size for what the amount of time we were there. Greatest shower we experienced in Italy as well. The language barrier was a little difficult for me an my husband to communicate with Rosa, as she speaks very little English, but she was willing to be patient with us as we used Hidden by Airbnb translate to ask questions! She also booked a taxi for us early in the morning to get to the airport.

Das Apartment von Rosa liegt in einem sehr gepflegten Haus, in dem noch mehrere ihrer Ferienwohnungen sind. Die Lage ist sehr ruhig, trotzdem sind es nur wenige Gehminuten zum Hafen. Rosa war wirklich eine wunderbare Gastgeberin.
Ma anche la posizione del paese con il semplice affitto di uno scooter ti permette di goderti della vicina Scopello e riserva dello zingaro. Zingaro nature reserve is a short drive away. It was very pleasant to be hosted by Caterina. Unfortunately, we did not meet Caterina but her parents. They were very welcoming and guided us to reach their place. The haus is wonderful, including a marvellous terrace and a spectacular view of the Guidaloca beach. The haus and the garden are spacious. The kitchen is well equipped with a huge fridge. The place is very comfortable and quite, very close to the beach and the villages of Scopello and Castellammare del Golfo were you can find supermarkets. I highly recommend this place, probably we will visit Caterina's place again in the future.
The villa is very spacious, quiet with a huge, lovely garden and spectacular views with plenty of off road parking. It is only a few minutes walk to the beautiful beach. Scopello is a few minutes drive away as is Castellamare. Caterina did not meet us personally but sent her parents who were very friendly and we were able to communicate adequately even though they spoke no English. The kitchen is very well equipped and it is possible to cater for several people easily. There is only air conditioning in one bedroom and no wifi. However, we discovered that the cafe on the beach has free wifi although the building was dismantled in the night before we left!
The outside terrace is a lovely dining space with wonderful views and has adequate shade for most of the day. Whilst we were there for nine days until 5th October there was a welcome breeze. We really enjoyed our stay. It is situated high above a lovely sheltered beach Guidaloca that is smooth stones at its south end and mixed stones and sand at its north end. High ceilings, tall windows, and an arched veranda give it a spacious, open feeling.
I did not actually meet Caterina, but she communicated very well. Her parents met us and took good care of us. When the kitchen had no hot water, her father showed me the hidden cable to plug in instead of the cable to the washing machine. I really like this place very much, so understand that I merely describe when I mention the following: Veramente, non ho incontrato Caterina, ma suoi genitori assicurata tutto necessario per noi. The place is incredible. The view is nothing short of spectacular. Caterina was very helpful and accommodating when we missed our flight to Sicily.
The location is perfect. The house provided us with an authentic Sicilian experience that we would never have had if we stayed at a hotel. I highly recommend Caterina's place. In the appartment 1st floor of the house apart you have everything you need: Breakfast is an extra but worths it, let them know your preferences. It takes about minutes by car to descend from the mountain to the closest town full of tourists. I prefered to drive back before the night comes for better visibility and safety.
This villa was quaint with all needs met. The property is gorgeous, and hospitality is unrivaled. A car is needed to reach the property and surrounding areas, but well worth it! Great house in an amazingly beautiful part of Sicily! Our hosts were very friendly and even invited us for a little aperitif upon arrival. I had troubles with my car and they helped me in any way they could and took me under their wings.
They made my holidays very special and I stayed longer than planed. In the end they felt like family and I will definitely visit them again when I'm in Sicily next time.
