Read my review of Kindle Unlimited here. It also fit into my quest to consume positive books. There is a lot of good information in this book. I would not say it is the best book on happiness out there, but it is decent enough.

It's a wise book but I don't know how much it would help someone who already lives an "examined" life. For those who choose to be "asleep" they probably won't select it for reading anyway. Those in between can find some useful pointers. First part of the book is very insightful and spot on in its observations of prevailing trends of technological ubiquity and evaporating joys of our lives.

The second part however is same there's no formula for happiness either Though the book tries to create one. The second part however is same as any other self help book - the author experienced something that was helpful and set out to teach others hoping for them to experience a similar epiphany as him.

It does not work that way and yet one cannot but share such a gift of one has received. Jan 30, Holly Klump rated it it was ok. I could not completely finish this book because I found the author to be such a judgmental grump. For someone who writes about happiness, I found him to be very negative "Kids these days!!

Perhaps this book has good information that is helpful for some folks, but I was so put off by the angry overtones that I put it down about halfway through. Jul 20, Jennifer rated it liked it. There are many books in this genre that examine the dangers of the modern lifestyle and provide life lessons and suggestions for living a happier, more fulfilled life.

This one was not my favourite, but what I did appreciate is that it incorporates Hatha yoga and meditation into the solutions for what ails us. Aug 15, Timber rated it liked it. This was a pretty good book. It did have some good advice, but it also had some white noise particularly his insistence on yoga solving every problem ever. The first half of the book was better than the 2nd half. Jun 21, Dean Krosecz rated it liked it. Strom starts off strong. I found the first ten exercises to be valuable in my life.

Even if you only read and do the first half of this book, it will be worth it. Jun 09, Nicole rated it really liked it. The book allows you the time and questioning to evaluate what you value and if you're living a life that mirrors these values. I really like that Max got me to think about the obvious but ignored steps to a better life. He describes many helpful ways to get there.

The thoughts success brings will make you wander happily in the roadway with your head up high while being content and fulfilled. In contrast to most common beliefs, there are no successful or unsuccessful individuals but alternatively there are people who have the possibilities to be successful and who do tasks that facilitate them understand this opportunities and there are women with the same capabilities who wont do those things.

The only thing you need to have to do to be successful is to do exactly what successful men and women did. When you go through all of the information you will acquire the thinking of a prosperous person and this will help you get to financial success. If you genuinely want to be prosperous then you should have a solid insight of several aspects that can minimize your potential and that can make you unsuccessful. If you dont have aspirations or strategies then you are really going to be a fraction of other people's objectives. If you will not program to be the boss at your work then some body else in your agency will do so and if you do not plan to get that high status occupation then someone else who prepared and strived for it will take it from you.

If you don't organize you will get swept away by the men and women who do. The very first aspect that comes to the mind of most someone with worries is that they start off to consider their trouble as limits to their successes.
