Now get this, Ricard invited us personally downstairs to their new club area which had only been open for three nights. Of course we so kindly obliged and may our way downstairs where things got a little warmer in colour, colder in temperature unfortunately I sat under the AC vent and shivered my little butt off, probably the only negative point of the eve. Where the upstairs focuses on Blue, downstairs is very much Red.

The same brass detailing applies, and the railings around any stairs were super chic. Very 70s and definitely doing it for me. I loved the tiny dance floor complete with backgammon style flooring. There was more awesome wallpaper, this time in a warm ikat finish, and the booths were upholstered in sexy Red velvet. Jason and I perched at the bar and were regularly checked in on by Ricard himself, a fabulously friendly gentleman who you can tell really cares about the comfort and enjoyment of his guests.
