Close Sorry — there was an error submitting your response. I would not recommend to anyone with PTSD or some type of mental illness that is triggered by loud random noises! The food could have been better for the price. My family and I come down the beach several times a year as we have time share weeks at different seasons,and we come down for the holidays as well. Nothing is better than trying different restaurants every day of the week of our stay. We have eaten at over 70 restaurants,and every year a new one or more open up,giving us a new venue to try.
This thanksgiving,my wife,myself,my daughter,her boyfriend and my two grandkids ate at Fager's island and it was fantastic!!! I have eaten there many times since they opened many years ago and have always had the best meal,However, this was my first Thanksgiving there. Will definitely go on the holidays again and would recommend it highly! All in all,Ocean City is a great place to be,any time you can get there. It's a welcomed break from the daily grind back home here in Baltimore.
The off season is a great time to be in Ocean City. Less people, free parking, lower hotel rates, and discounts Restaurants and Stores. The weather was great. The sunrises and full moon over the ocean was breathtaking. The sound of the ocean is so relaxing.
The long walks on the beach and boardwalk are so enjoyable and for you dog lovers your furry friends are allowed as well. The Satillite ear 48th st bayside is our favorite place for breakfast. Their Cinnamon French Toast is the best. They have great omelets and cream chipped beef as well as other favorites. We ate dinner at the Green Turtle and Coins Restaurants near the hotel.
Had Thrashers Frenchfries and pizza at Pizanos on the boardwalk.
Shopped at some local stores. Played games at the arcades for tickets redeemable for great prizes. We took a relaxing drive to see the Assateague Ponies. OC is a great place to visit anytime of the year I enjoyed coming here during thanksgiving. Even though it was chilly we stop had a blast walking the beach.
I would say do your homework when it comes to the hotels here some can be quite deceiving. Overall it was a wonderful stay and we will be back. Ocean city has everything you need. Lots to do and see Beautiful views. Favorite spot the inlet and boardwalk. Good food at the Grand Hotel restaurant We are seniors and getting around was easy. I wish I could give this hotel a 10 Star Rating. Everything was Excellent from checking in, the front desk staff, the room, the view and the rate! I loved everything about this hotel and this will be the hotel we choose every time we are in Ocean City from this point on.
It is on the boardwalk, but far enough down that you can enjoy the boardwalk and the beach. The view from the 5th floor is amazing and peaceful to just open the balcony door and listen to the ocean. Our private balcony oceanfront room was gorgeous! We were greeted with smiles and excellent customer service.
Check-in was a breeze. They provided us with complimentary warm cookies. The lobby was beautiful. Our room, by far, was the best part!! The bathroom was lovely. The shower was huge. Our bed was so comfortable and the pillows were even better. Very high quality hotel. I'm very satisfied with my experience and will be booking here for future adventures to Ocean City! This location is perfect, a few short steps from the end of the boardwalk. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room was simple and clean, our room had a fridge and we had access to an ice machine and microwave.
Hot coffee and fresh fruit in the office every morning. This was a super affordable, family friendly motel. This might not be a 5 star hotel but, Seabonay Motel, is a classic Ocean City experience with an amazing location and view. We will be staying here again and again.
The pool and hot tub were great for the kiddos and adults. The water in the pool was wonderfully warm. Nice access to the beach from the hotel as well. Rooms looked clean as did the rest of the hotel, but finishings were done on the cheaper side. All this being said, it was still a great deal for location, indoor pool and kitchenette.
They had great service. When we checked in we were upgraded to an ocean front room, which had a beautiful view! The room was okay nothing fancy, but it was clean and comfy. It was a good value for the price we paid. The hotel was also relatively close to all the things we wanted to do. This place was only a block alway from the boardwalk and was cheap for everything that was included!
I was so impressed! The girls at checkout and the front desk manager were so accommodating and kind. Best ocean city trip EVER! Thank you Madison beach motel staff!! Excellent location, right on the boardwalk with rocking chairs on the front porch which is a wonderful plus. I knew it was an older hotel when I booked it so I did not expect anything fancy.
It was clean and staff was very friendly. I love that we have the bus stop right afront to the hotel and it's really shipper. By bus you can go to seacrets, it's just 15 min. I had a great time with my friends. Beautiful hotel located on the beach and very close to the Ocean City Amusement Park. We were there for a chilly spring weekend, but loved it so much will return in the summer. LOVED that there is a privacy wall between balconies. The hotel is beautiful and very clean! Our room was very comfortable and we had a great view of the city lights.
The staff was helpful and we could tell that they really wanted to do anything they could to make our stay the best. This Hotel is an excellent place to go. Quiet, extremely clean, safe very good. I have no complaints at all. Everything worked well and it was clean. The hotel is right on the beach and far enough down the boardwalk that you dont get all the noise. Easy check in and out.
